AC/DC FOCK YEAH!
I’m actually watching & TiVo-ing them in Concert on VH1 Classic right now, a 1998 concert in Madrid.
AC/DC reminds me that, yes, life is good, and very few know how to reach into that intangible place with an electric guitar…
…Angus being one of them…
Angus…heh heh…shit, how’d ya like to hang with a buddy named Angus? heh heh…

“I’m on the Highway to Hell” (their words, their song).
No thanks, Angus.
September 8th, 2008 at 9:46 pmIMHO, “You Shook Me All Night Long” is overplayed. I like the Bon Scott era more. Good band.
September 8th, 2008 at 10:14 pmWhen Bon died after “Highway to Hell” came out I thought they were through.
Then Back in Black came out 3 weeks before I left for Texas and I was blown away by how good it was and at the same time kinda stunned how none of my surf buds connected “Have a Drink on Me” with Bon. (way too much pot I suppose
)
I was in Texas for 8 months before I met a metal head / rocker who’d heard the album.
Anyways, thanks for the memory.

September 9th, 2008 at 10:46 amuh, im 55, well I have a collection of old Rock’n roll cd, I like the firsts, the whole james brown’s, othis reading… aretha franklin… a few youngers that I forgot the name at the moment, then I lost the envy for the pop music. My sons introduced me to the “gun & roses, ACDC, the hard rock…
September 9th, 2008 at 11:21 ammy second sond created a hard rock band that he drove during his teenages, now I I am completely lost, none to educate me
Though the Stratocaster has its place, I love the “fatter” sound of Gibsons. First time I heard GNR, I knew that sound had finally returned.
September 9th, 2008 at 1:13 pmDuring the ACDC era, it seemed like the only bars that played rock anylonger were strip clubs. Everywhere else was playing disco. It is very hard to have to listen to disco while having a few drinks, very hard to take.
31Mike I turned 53 several months back. ‘55 was a very good year.
