The US likes, oil, therefore we meddle. If we didn't have a love affair with oil we wouldn't be in the middle east in the first place and they wouldn't hate us so much. How would you like it if China meddled in American politics because they wanted our lumber to build their houses. We wouldn't stand for it would we? Why should they?
