One of the things that energized me the most from the Republican Convention was Lieberman’s speech when he touched on George Washington’s farewell speech warning of loyalty to political party in favor of loyalty to the nation best interest.
I have no interest in lock step loyalty to a party, but the sides have been drawn so cleanly that I could not think of voting for a d’rat for dog catcher now.
