Here, Pat…Chief Mel
As a Black American Army Warrant Officer, it appears clear to me that Barack Obama does not think too highly of Black America. Whether liberal puppet-masters in his campaign are prompting this or Obama, himself, lacks a
real connection with the Black American struggle, one thing is clear: Barack
Obama and his party do not want us to leave the oppressive plantation mindset
that has exploited the Black vote for years.
Obama is far more liberal than he is Black. His elitist views that Black
Americans cannot succeed, contribute to society, or take care of our families
without government mandated programs and policies, promote the racist idea
that somehow the Black race is inferior while he ignores the magnificent
accomplishments and achievements of our ancestors.
Despite what history tells us, we are led to believe by liberal politicians
and the mainstream media that we are not capable of taking care of ourselves
and our families, and therefore must be kept in the bondage of a welfare
mentality that will never afford us our true worth today or future potential
for our children and grandchildren.
We are led to believe that the Black American cannot be equally, if even
more, qualified for a promotion, and therefore must rely on Affirmative
Action, which further promotes animosity and suspicion with our co-workers
and fellow Americans.
We are led to believe that Black Americans are not smart enough to succeed in
private schools and therefore must be stuck in a failing education system,
rather than grant us greater opportunities with vouchers to attend better
schools.
We are led to believe that Black American children offer nothing to society
and therefore must be aborted, accounting for 40 percent of all abortions in
America.
We led to believe that the importance of the father to the Black American
family is archaic and far less important than two mothers.
This should outrage Black America.
Liberals like Obama refuse to accept that Black Americans are perfectly
capable of living the American dream without the government’s help. We are
entrepreneurs, doctors, lawyers, teachers and community leaders. We are great
contributors to society, like our ancestors, and realize there is no better
place on earth for such an opportunity to do so than America.
America is not our enemy. The White man is not our enemy. The liberal mindset
and preconceived agenda of Black America, fueled and exploited by politicians
and the media, are our enemies. To continually and erroneously define the
Black American as incompetent is but a sinister plot to convince Black
Americans we cannot succeed and must surrender our freedoms, fearful to leave
the plantation mindset.
Historically, this has been the endeavor of Barack Obama’s party. The
Democrat agenda has historically intended to bind the freedoms of Black
America. Once their racist laws were reversed, programs were put into place
to keep us as a people forever dependent on the government master. The torch
has merely been repackaged and passed to Barack Obama; the old playbook,
newly re-designed with a cover of “compassionâ€Â.
Obama and his party have a vested interest in the race issue. To continue to
define us by our race and not our contributions and abilities, they
relentlessly strive to shackle our inherent right to accomplishment and
achievement. Once we identify ourselves as Americans first, race disappears
and we let go of the bigoted and false notion that Black Americans are
excluded from the American dream. The minute we throw off the chains of
expected mediocrity and truly accept that we as Black Americans can and will
contribute, compete and prosper, we leave the plantation mindset and the
master forever loses our power and our votes.
As a Black American, I refuse to accept an agenda by Obama or any other
liberal politician that seeks to segregate my race from the American
experience based on faulty and bigoted misconceptions. In exchange for our
votes and our freedoms, Obama and his party will continue to promise their
idea of freedom and equality for Black America, but knowingly and shamelessly
will only ensure the cycle of bondage retains its ugly stronghold.
