The O’Man IS Ted Baxter
September 26th, 2008 at 11:36 amTed Baxter… lmao
The bloviator needs a new stockbroker or stop lying about “warnings”.
September 26th, 2008 at 11:59 amI remember Greenspan warning about Fannie and Freddie.
That dumbfuck Bill O! is living proof that TV ‘isn’t about bringing information to audiences, it’s about bringing audiences to advertisers’.
“Crisis is the friend of the State, they have always used it as an excuse to give them more power and more of our money.”
Or…
“Necessity is the reason for every infringement upon human liberty. It is the mantra of tyrants, it is the creed of slaves.”

Is it just me or does this whole situation of free market versus government control/power seem familiar to anyone else? I seem to remember reading a book with people who sounded eerily like O’Reilly and Stossel…. Bah, can’t put my finger on it.
Oh well, who is John Galt?
September 26th, 2008 at 12:58 pmIf O’Reilly did just a little research he would find that Pres. Bush tried to control Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac in 2001 & 2003, McCain tried in 2005 as did Alan Greenspan but were blocked by Democrats such as Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Chuck Schumer and others! I guess that they failed to copy Billy Boy on the memo!
