LBA’s Rant Of The Night - With Video About, Palin: Iraq War ‘A Task That Is From God’
As I lay in bed last night, after a long day, I caught a program on PBS called History of the Devil. Here is the description:
The idea of God’s evil enemy has been around for thousands of years & it’s still as powerful as ever. Where did Satan’s story begin, where did he come from & how did he become the Prince of Darkness? This documentary seeks to answer these questions.
I thought to myself: “Thank you God. After the day I had I could use a little enlightenment”.
Let me tell you, it was enlightening. It made me understand that a true evil has been unleashed in this world. Not just in the Middle East but everywhere. When people begging to chastise you because you believe in God, that is Satan.
What the makers of this documentary don’t tell you is this:
If you don’t believe in Satan, then you don’t believe in God.
Funny because, I just found this video on Atheist Nation…
Go Figure… In a part of it, they try to use the analogy of a cat & mouse and state: Evil is just a man made “Perception”.
When a cat kills a mouse - is it evil? That cat is someones pet, they love that pet, therefore not evil. Was the mouse evil?
No, the mouse belonged to someone as a pet, and someone loved that mouse.
I say this: Animals are not born with FREE WILL and a conscious to know the difference between Good & Evil.
Here is the FINAL segment of the program I was able to catch:
If you watched it, you will see the Marine talk about the enemy we are fighting as absolute Evil.
The Marine is correct…
Ask ANY soldier, ANY rank who has fought them, and seen what they have done to other people in the name of their god.
After watching this CRAP program I began to think of the challenges and “Tasks” our Nation has faced throughout time…
The Revolution..The Civil War…Both World Wars, Vietnam And now Iraq and Afghanistan…
Was it “Evil” that was the driving force, the 9/11 terrorists to commit one of the worst disasters of our time, on our soil?
YOU BET! I say that firmly and believe it to be true for this ONE reason..
God is the opposite of death..
In many ways it also made me think about the “Change” concept that the Democrats have been shoving down our throats…
IE: Gay marriage and abortion, “White Guilt”, The decline of Morals & Values and the acceptance of it being pushed down our throats everywhere we look.
We know its a sin. It goes against everything we have been taught. Are we taught to HATE them for it? Absolutely not. But we are taught to hate the sin and not to be “Enablers” of sin. Enabling gay relations and enabling abortion and being forced to “Accept” it for being OK is NOT OK..
Trying to use Christianity itself as a platform for “Change” and trying to use it against true Christians..
I can’t tell you how many times I have head from liberals “Your Catholic? Could have fooled me. If you were you would be more accepting to others”
Well, I am accepting.. I will invite you to dinner. I will offer you everything I can give you. But I will not be a part or be an enabler to your sins.
Falling for the “White Guilt” aspect is another form of evil. I never owned slaves. I hate the American Heritage of the Black community and how they WERE treated..
But pushing the issue and making people “Believe” they are still raciest, when their not, is deception. God does not use these practices…
NOW! We come to this article by the AP where they try to rip into Sarah Palin about her “Praying” for certain things…
I really don’t want to post it, because when I read it, I was infuriated. Why would the media chastise this woman for praying?
Is praying with your prayer group “Taboo” now? I want you to see how evil is lurking in our society…
I want you to see how deception works….
Who uses deception?

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP)  Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin told ministry students at her former church that the United States sent troops to fight in the Iraq war on a “task that is from God.”
In an address last June, the Republican vice presidential candidate also urged ministry students to pray for a plan to build a $30 billion natural gas pipeline in the state, calling it “God’s will.”
Palin asked the students to pray for the troops in Iraq, and noted that her eldest son, Track, was expected to be deployed there.
“Our national leaders are sending them out on a task that is from God,” she said. “That’s what we have to make sure that we’re praying for, that there is a plan and that plan is God’s plan.”
A video of the speech was posted at the Wasilla Assembly of God’s Web site before finding its way on to other sites on the Internet.
Palin told graduating students of the church’s School of Ministry, “What I need to do is strike a deal with you guys.” As they preached the love of Jesus throughout Alaska, she said, she’d work to implement God’s will from the governor’s office, including creating jobs by building a pipeline to bring North Slope natural gas to North American markets.
“God’s will has to be done in unifying people and companies to get that gas line built, so pray for that,” she said.
“I can do my job there in developing our natural resources and doing things like getting the roads paved and making sure our troopers have their cop cars and their uniforms and their guns, and making sure our public schools are funded,” she added. “But really all of that stuff doesn’t do any good if the people of Alaska’s heart isn’t right with God.”
Palin attended the evangelical church from the time she was a teenager until 2002, the church said in a statement posted on its Web site. She has continued to attend special conferences and meetings there. Religious conservatives have welcomed her selection as John McCain’s running mate.
Rob Boston, a spokesman for Americans United for Separation of Church and State, lamented Palin’s comments.
“I miss the days when pastors delivered sermons and politicians delivered political speeches,” he said. “The United States is increasingly diverse religiously. The job of a president is to unify all those different people and bring them together around policy goals, not to act as a kind of national pastor and bring people to God.”
The section of the church’s Web site where videos of past sermons were posted was shut down Wednesday, and a message was posted saying that the site “was never intended to handle the traffic it has received in the last few days.”
