Heh! I love this woman, and we have never met face-to-face … yet. Just the internet and the telephone.
My late Aunt/Godmother was a very independent, self-liberated, and savvy woman. Never married, but by choice as she decided to be the back-up matriarch to my Dad’s side of the family whenever they needed her assistance. Selfless and hard working. A career woman in a man’s business world she towed no wagon for bullshit. But her favorite song was the John Lennon “Imagine” … It was even played at her funeral a few years ago. My Aunt was not a political soul, so I doubt the hidden meaning of the song even crossed her mind.
To me the tune has always been sort of peaceful and pretty, but as I matured I really paid attention to the lyrics and found the tune was a bait to lull you into accepting the premise of the lyrics … Marxism/socialism/communism.

So now we have a presidential candidate inside this country who is promising ALL the things listed in the lyrics above, and he uses his smooth and peaceful tune and tone to lull you into a false sense of Utopia. A Messiah with flowing robes of “Hope” and “Change” … “The One” man in all of human history that we have been awaiting since Adam and Eve. Not that ‘pretender’ Jesus Christ. No, The real and true One. Even Jesus recognized and acknowledged the rich man and the ability of men to better themselves … why else would he bother to heal the crippled and afflicted? He saw ‘charity’ as a temporary ‘fix’ … that once able to, the recipient should move on and be productive in society … not continually look to someone else for justification and need.
Our country was founded on Judeo-Christian faith and beliefs. The godless left cannot tolerate that and has fought it since Russia fell to Marxism/communism at the turn of the last century. The left in this country believes that enough wasn’t done… not enough money pumped into a socialist/Marxist/communist government … not enough people died for the ideology of enslaving man’s soul to mortality … and now these Marxists can and will do better to succeed. Kill God, and the people are yours to rule …
Hussein’s “church” for the last 20 years is NOT a church. It is a gathering place for a political ideology with a tax exemption. The man wouldn’t know “Christ” if He appeared in front of him … Hell, ABC’s Georgie Boy had to remind the fool he’s “Christian” not Muslim a couple weeks back … And in seeing his tactics during this presidential campaign you do NOT see the workings of a good Christian in practice. But he is worshiped and adored in the sweet lulling song of children whose lyrics rival those of John Lennon:

When I saw this video (heard it first on Limbaugh’s radio show this afternoon) The scenes from “The Killing Fields†where the red-commies used the young kids to inflict horror and torture and even slaughter on those being “re-educated†came into my mind.
Can you imagine if this were a group of church kids singing “God Bless America†for McPalin???

The people in this country have so taken our freedom/democracy/republic for granted in the last couple generations it is not even pitiful … but criminal and sinful. So willing to toss it all aside for the comfort of not having to worry or want. And to think … Our nation began as a bunch of super pissed-off Colonials had had enough when the ruling King across the ocean put a tax on their tea. What do you think they would think about us lazy-assed Americans today … we feeble-minded Americans who crave a nanny state? When I think of the lives lost in the Revolution for Independence from that controlling King, the lives lost in a civil war to keep this country united, and all the wars thereafter to secure and preserve that first war for freedom and to share it, to spread it around … and how it can ALL be just thrown on the trash pile on one day in November 2008 … ALL that prior blood of those lost lives from all those prior wars will be on OUR hands … as will the blood from the future revolution in this country when we finally wake the hell up … if we do, or be lost forever.
Yes, Mr. Obama, we cling to our Bibles and our guns … one in protection of the other, you see, and I WILL NOT tell you which to the other.
