ACORN Registers Mickey Mouse In Florida
I used to know a guy who, during the 1992 election season, kept saying that he wasn’t going to vote for Bush or Clinton, that he was going to write-in Mickey Mouse. Don’t know if he did or not, but I have heard that, as a joke, more than once or twice. But registering Mickey to vote?
Mickey Mouse tried to register to vote in Florida this summer.
Orange County elections officials rejected his application, which was stamped with the logo of the nonprofit group ACORN.
This year, ACORN signed up 1.3-million voters nationwide and about 152,000 in Florida, mostly in Orange, Broward and Miami-Dade counties.
Not tonight, Mickey, Minnie’s got a headache from all the ACORN volunteers harassing to register to vote, again and again and again and again…
