Breaking – Fed. Judge Slaps Ohio Dem. Sec. Of State With A Temp. Restraining Order – With Video

TRUST AND VERIFY!!! Damn it!
Last weeks registration and early voting was a damn mess, to say the least. And OUR democrat Secretary of State refused to take the shoddiness of it seriously.
Not to mention she tried to block republican absentee ballots ahead of this.
I posted about it, with revealing videos of ‘man on the street’ about the tactics and the [people] that were literally being rounded up and driven to the polls, without ID or verification of residential status … and THEY FUCKING VOTED! It gotta show my ID at Walmart to buy spray paint and disposable lighters!
People are starting to come out and tell their stories about ACORN in Ohio … BTW, if ANYONE says Ohio was rife with voter fraud in the 2004 election … you tell them ‘Hell yes it was’ … Know why? Because there was horrible voter fraud in Ohio …
It was ACORN and ALL of it was done in democrat areas … There were people who went to jail for it.
My earlier post about ACORN here.
ACORN Voter Fraud Investigations Underway in Key Swing State of Ohio
The state of Ohio and the heavily Democratic area of Cuyahoga County are yet again embroilled in elections controversy. Claims from area residents that they have been hounded by the community activist group ACORN to register to vote multiple times have sparked an investigation by election officials into ACORN, whose political wing has supported Barack Obama.
Yesterday two Ohio voters came forth and claimed that although they had made it clear they were already registered to vote, ACORN canvassers encouraged them to sign up several times. One of those was Christopher Barkley of Cleveland, who estimates that he registered to vote “10 to 15″ times after ACORN relentlessly pursued him.
“I kept getting approached by folks who asked me to register,” Barkley said. “They’d ask me if I was registered. I’d say yes, and they’d ask me to do it [register] again. Some of them were getting paid to collect names. That was their sob story, and I bought it,” he said.
The Cuyahoga County Board of Elections has thus far subpoenaed at least three people as part of a wider inquiry into potential voter fraud by ACORN. The community organization looks to register low-income voters, that tend to overwhelmingly vote Democratic.
Lateala Goins, who was subpoeaned along with Barkley and others, said, “You can tell them you’re registered as many times as you want – they do not care. They will follow you to the buses, they will follow you home, it does not matter.”
Also subpoenaed was Freddie Johnson, who filled out voter registration cards a total of 72 times over the course of 18 months..
Elections officials state that registering under a fake name is illegal, however they usually catch multiple registrations and get rid of them. But where the major risk of fraud in large canvassing efforts such as ACORN’s comes into play is the possibility of ineligible voters filing absentee ballots, and then avoiding checks at poling places.
Kris Harsh, ACORN’s Cleveland spokesman said that his group has collected 100,000 voter registration cards, and only about 50 were questionable.
Investigations into ACORN are not just underway in Ohio, but also in Las Vegas. On Tuesday Nevada officials, with the help of local police and FBI investigations over the past month, raided ACORN’s Vegas offices. The Las Vegas ACORN outfit is accused of signing people up to vote multiple times, and in some cases using fake names such as the Dallas Cowboys starting lineup.
(Thanks Kurt!)

Greta interviewed the Ohio Sec. of State on her show last night. Apparently the Sec. of State has had second thoughts about that interview, as pointed out by Greta’s blog:

Were we unfair to the Ohio Secretary of State?
by Greta Van Susteren – (Greta Wire)
Earlier today we taped an interview with the current Secretary of State (Ohio) Jennifer Brunner. A short time before I interviewed her, I received some information about a complaint about the Secretary from the student media known as Palestra. The complaint related really to her office and the election issues we are all talking about. I quickly called Palestra and asked about the complaint and took notes….I then, when I interviewed the Secretary about fifteen minutes later, asked her if she knew anything about it..I gave her the information I had been told….she said she did not know about it and we moved on. I wanted to get her version of the events and figured I should ask while I have her. If you watch the interview, you can see I merely presented what I was told to her. I figured I would go to Palestra for more information as I was trying to get to the bottom of the dispute assuming there was even a dispute. About 10 minutes ago I received the email below…it was actually sent to OTR Producer Justin Wells ..I want to make sure we get all the information out to you that we have. We are going to air the interview with the Secretary tonight ON THE RECORD at 10pm eastern (and have the Palestra documents)….but I thought I should post this letter (and I will make a reference to the letter on ON THE RECORD.)

Subject: Comments on Interview with Secretary Brunner today
Justin,
I wanted to voice my serious concerns with you as to the way the interview played out today for Secretary Brunner.
Over the past week, a reporter purporting to be with palestra.net has made three demands for an unscheduled on-camera interview with the Secretary. The first demand was made on the day absentee voting began in Ohio and the second was made later that week. In both cases the Secretary was meeting with boards of elections in other parts of Ohio and the reporter refused staff’s offer to provide a representative of the office for the interview. Yesterday, the reporter appeared in the lobby of the building housing the secretary of state’s office and demanded an immediate on-camera interview with the Secretary, who was meeting with board of elections in Cleveland. We asked her to call our office and schedule an interview.
Today, we made the CEO of palestra.net aware of the concerns, offering to provide a representative of the office for a fair and balanced interview.
Rather than accepting that offer, the CEO of palestra.net obviously provided questions to Greta Von Susteren for an on-camera interview of the Secretary on the Fox News Network. It now appears that Fox News is making this an issue when the Secretary explicitly stated she had no knowledge of palestra.net or the circumstances about which she was questioned.
Ohioans and the nation deserve better during this crucial election year. We will continue to actively engage in a responsible discussion of election administration in Ohio. We do not believe a successful election in Ohio is achieved with unprofessional behavior on the part of anyone purporting to be a journalist or supporting the exploitation of journalism, whether for partisan or private purposes.
