Cop Robs Sleepy Subway Rider
This was recorded yesterday in Moscow. Apparently, the passenger reported his cell phone, money, and some papers missing.
And here’s the proof.

October 24th, 2008 at 12:47 pmI’m russian (26 yo) and i never ever heard a story about a cop (or any official for that matter) refusing a bribe. Bribing a road police to get out of ticket, for example, is such a common occurence that it’s almost like official policy. At one point upper branch of our government realized they can’t do shit about road police officers being corrupt so they decided to target drivers: in one very popular case here they set up a sting where cop literally talked a driver into bribing him after which he got arrested and sentenced to 3 years or something like that.
October 24th, 2008 at 1:30 pmAs much as I dislike Russian police I should say I did not see this cop rob the passenger. He searched the guy looking for his ID because in Moscow you are required to have it on you at all times, but at no time I saw him actually taking anything out of the guy’s pockets and putting into his.The whole time the cop’s hands were empty untill he pulled out the passport out of the passenger’s breast pocket.
