So Gary Trudeau jumped on the Palin “Slamwagon” (surprise!) in his comic strip Doonesbury, this week. In case you haven’t seen it yet I have it below. The shameless hypocrisy of the Left-Leaning Mainstream Media in it’s vicious attacks on Sarah Palin are unprecedented in American History for any woman, running for public office or not.

I keep thinking about those electric football games I used to have as a kid. Some of you may know the type I’m talking about (this was the pre-Atari prehistoric era), a flat metal sheet painted to look like a football field. You painted your little plastic football players and put the numbers on, then lined them up on the field. Man, the quarterback/kickers were so hard to control with that little foam football that was easily replaced by one of your Grandma’s corn pads.

But I digress. The thing about the electric football game was after you lined the guys up you flipped the switch and the sheet metal would vibrate and the little players would move forward toward each other. There was a little dial and if you turn that dial up the sheet would vibrate faster and faster and the little guys would go bouncing to opposite sides of the field very quickly.

They polarized. Not scientifically, but nevertheless, the result was the same…they went to extreme opposite sides of the fields very quickly and stayed there, bouncing around until you turned the thing off.

That’s what is happening in America…
