You know, I am all for having fun with the kids. I have 5 kids of my own (22, 21, 19, 9, and 4) and we own a daycare. State certified. Been in that biz for about 10 years and have unfortunately seen lots of bad parenting…lots of good parenting, too, but this…
This is not good. At the very least he could dislocate her shoulder, happened to my little sister when she was about that same age. The thing with the legs and upside down, damn close to what can cause shaken baby syndrome. He seriously is endangering the well-being of this child. I guarantee you, if it is found out who this guy is, and it is here in the United States, childrens services will be on them in a heartbeat.
What he is doing is not cool, not cool at all. It’s good to play with your kids, rough-housing, wrestle around with them, don’t make them pussies, but don’t do what this guy is doing in the video. Ever. It is very dangerous for the child. I show this to Mrs. Bash and she’ll freak, so I ain’t showin’ her.
Seriously, this is considered abuse/neglect in the State of Oregon, if this was a parent in our daycare doing this, and I didn’t report it, if he was caught and it was found out I didn’t report what I knew, I could get fined $40,000 and face jail time. I’m a little pissed right now.
