Obama Tries To Slam McCain With Keating 5 Documentary

What the documentary fails to recognize is that McCain was exonerated of any wrong doing in the Keating 5 Scandal. On November 20, 1991, he was exonerated by the Senate Ethics Committee after an investigation that included weeks of televised hearings. The committee found that Mr. McCain had ”exercised poor judgment” in attending, with four other senators, two meetings with federal banking regulators, but it found no improper action on his part.
However, this opens a door for the McCain campaign if they can spot it. It means that the Obama camp is saying that judgement and associations matter…
…you bet they do.
