The Original Easy Company Drops Into Iraq To Visit The Troops

A few weeks back I mentioned my kinship with some folks from the HBO message boards while the Band Of Brothers mini series was being played … right, as fate would have it, in the midst of September 11, 2001. A few of us bonded and have remained close internet buddies, and have even had some contact with some of the original members of the 101st AB, Easy Company PIR.

I also made mention a couple months ago how some of the old guys were heading over to Iraq with the USO to visit the troops.

And they did.

Thanks to my Bandhead buddy BK for the heads-up on this one.

Wild Bill, Babe, Malarkey, and others made the trip. The troops were thrilled to see the Heroes.
