Vile Anti-Palin T-Shirt Crosses The Line, But Media Double Standard Is Worse – With Video
Tweet

Pat broke this news item late last night on Pat Dollard’s Jihadikiller Hour BTR radio show.
Some in the media have actually noticed the story and are playing it. But not enough.
Some of our Dollard Nation questions about this ‘enterprise’ should be: IF campaign funds went into paying for the production of the T-shirts … are they available at any of the DNC/Obama campaign offices along with the typical bumper stickers and yard signs … Or was this a ‘private ventue’ by a small business that will find it’s profits “spread around” with the rest of “the wealth” under a Hussein administration and democrat majority Congress???
Hmmm?????
Tammy Bruce really puts it into excellent perspective going all the way back to Hussein’s primary campaign against Hillary Clinton.
Vile Anti-Palin Tee-Shirts in City of Brotherly Love
Jake Tapper – (ABC)
The picture was taken at Saturday at Philadelphia’s Park Hyatt Hotel.
Others who saw the foursome verify the authenticity of this photograph to ABC News’ Imtiyaz Delawala, who is traveling with Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin.
Why would these four think this is acceptable discourse?
Why would they think wearing these shirts would accomplish anything other than win votes for the McCain-Palin ticket?
Vile.
Jake Tapper’s questions answered
Ben Smith – (Politico)
The ridiculously industrious Jake Tapper asks who the people are who showed up outside a Palin event in Philadelphia with t-shirts whose neon green lettering carried a particularly taboo slur about Palin.
I mentioned the shirts in passing earlier, and one of their creators, emailing under the name Rhiannon Volpe, objected to my suggestion that she was a Democrat:
I personally am a registered Libertarian, supporting Obama this year. Palin is the last woman I want to hold a political office right now. Her lack of common sense, cruel treatment to animals, and just plain ignorance to what we (Americans, and even women) really care about is absolutely frustrating. The point of wearing the shirt to me is just a bold way of saying that she certainly is not liked or one of “us.” To play the gender card is irrelevant, because I am a woman who wears the tshirt anyway.
She added that McCain had, allegedly, used the word himself, “so is it really that offensive?” And she said none of the people pictured were Democrats.
She’s also selling the shirts online, part of a line of ironical Philly hipster gear.
MONDAY’S GREGALOGUE: A PLATEFUL OF HATE
Right now, in the press, “rage” is all the rage.
At the New York Times, Maureen Dowd and Frank Rich – who may be the same person since they both wear dresses – have columns on the rising tide of anger in McCain’s campaign. Dowd is calling the whole thing “seamy,” and whenever someone brings up Bill Ayers, Rich sees a “violent escalation” in rhetoric. He links addressing real issues to an increased risk of Obama’s assassination – meaning if you think voter fraud is important, you probably also want to kill black people.
True, a few nutbags in the GOP crowd shouted “terrorist” at the mention of Obama’s name. But how does that compare to the insane froth found among the left? Christ: How many times have you heard President Bush called a “terrorist”? The Angry Left calls Bush a “war criminal,” a “chimp,” and have referred to him as a Nazi so many times he now goose-steps instead of jogs.
You want to talk about hate speech? Go to any Lefty protest. You’ll see Old Glory remade with swastikas replacing stars. And what of those ironic hipsters wearing “Saran Palin is a C__t” t-shirts in Philadelphia the other day? I suppose when the media sees that, it’s just edgy. However, I just see assholes destined for a lifetime manning the counter at Kinko’s.
Nope, when the Left calls people horrible names, it’s just politics — a few fringe loonies, not be taken seriously. When that same anger comes from the Right, though, it reflects a larger philosophy of hate – one that labels anyone who doesn’t want to spoon Noam Chomsky an Aryan Brother.
Look: the right knows Obama isn’t a terrorist. He never tried to bomb the Pentagon and Capital Building. That was only a friend of his. Obama never said 9/11 happened because America’s “chickens are coming home to roost” or screamed “G-d Damn America!” from the pulpit. That was just his pastor. We get it.
But the left realizes that if you want to kill a legitimate line of questioning, simply call something racist or hateful – and the media nods. It’s the best way to make sure McCain loses gracefully – and it’s working.
Frankly, I’d say it makes them all worse than Hitler.
