If you missed the JKH “I Am A Student Of History” Show last night you missed a great one. TPS was awesome, and Freedom4Cuba (John), also a teacher/professor called in to relate his story and thoughts on where he came from (Castro-run Cuba), what he came to here, and how this country needs to be preserved as the best place in the world to live and grow in freedom.
He inspired me to gather some previous post links and offer them to you in case you missed them the first time around.
They concern a growing threat just as dangerous as radical Islam’s jihad in the world.
It is the rebirth of the Cold War. Vlad Putin and his puppet Russian Prez Medvedev are slinking around south of our country planting seeds we cannot afford to grow.
You see, in Chavez and the “They’re so damn evil even Hell doesn’t want them” immortal Castro Brothers Putin has eager and willing recipients of his bases, weapons, missiles, spy surveillance that he and Russia do not have to conquer them.
Not only that, but both regimes in Cuba and Venezuela have become close and kissy-kissy with Amydidherdad and Iran.
All that is needed is two or three … hell, even one well placed EMP in our southern region to cause major disruption and chaos through possibly half, if not all, our country.
It seems with this new “president” our country will no longer be viewed as a nation and a power to fear … That we will resume the whole “push-over, pushed-around” status we so enjoyed during the 1990s under Willie’s two terms in office. Only, this time, not only will the Islamic Jihadis be looking for their opportunities … but the neo-Soviets are already setting the table with a possible ‘block party’ in mind.
So, let’s not forget the Cold War … because it looks to be heating up again …

China’s Hu To Visit Cuba This Month By Castro’s Invitation
BEIJING (AFP)–Chinese President Hu Jintao will visit Cuba later this month at the invitation of his counterpart Raul Castro, China’s foreign ministry said Tuesday.
Hu will fly to Havana between a G20 meeting on the global financial crisis in Washington on Nov. 15 and the Asian Pacific Economic Cooperation forum summit in Peru on Nov. 22, ministry spokesman Qin Gang said.
Precise dates for the visit to Cuba weren’t immediately announced, but it was likely to occur after Hu visits Costa Rica on Nov. 17.
Hu last visited Cuba in November 2004, during which he oversaw the signing of several bilateral deals with then president Fidel Castro.
China and Cuba have remained all-weather friends for decades, their Marxist Socialist past a driving force in relations.
Hu’s visit will be his first to Cuba since ailing Fidel Castro handed over the presidency to his younger brother Raul earlier this year.
Meanwhile, Japan isn’t at all crazy about Prez-Elect Obama.
But hey, Obama’s looking to fill the spot of White House lawyer with Castro lawyer/pal Greg Craig …
