You betcha…Joe has paid his taxes
Samuel J. Wurzelbacher, aka Joe the Plumber, has paid his taxes. That is according to a Lucas County court document that shows Wurzelbacher paid off a personal tax lien Thursday.
The lien has been lifted.
Wurzelbacher was thrust into the spotlight after his name was mentioned numerous time during the final president debate in October. Then Democratic presidential candidate, Barack Obama, had spoken with Wurzelbacher while greeting residents in the plumber’s Holland neighborhood Oct. 12.
The plumber came under scrutiny when it was revealed that he owed over $1,000 in back taxes to the State of Ohio.
