The Mental Deficit That Is The Sociopathic Media: Iraq Bombings Show Progress

I just heard Rush Limbaugh cite this on his radio show.

I am about to head out the door for some running around for the afternoon, but I HAD to share this with you.

How did Obama get elected?

Because the lazy mentality of the people who get their opinion(s) processed and pre-packaged from the MSM … had their opinion(s) about this man processed and pre-packaged by the MSM.

And now, given the last several years of the excruciating pain, suffering, ball-breaking work our fantastic military has done in the Iraq War, much to, and in spite of, the processing and pre-packaging of the MSM … the media will NOW not allow a stray dismembered finger to be found inside their processed and pre-packaged opinion(s) “news” they are going to feed the mentally lazy people in this country. This simple and brief Chicago Trib blog entry is just one of those offerings.

I went to a fast food place once … Asked for the prepared sandwich without ketsup, mustard, and mayo … When I unwrapped the sandwich and bit in I still tasted the condiments … Pulled back the bun to find the worker behind the counter in the food prep area had taken the previously prepared sandwich that had been sitting under the funky red warming light, opened the bun, and simply scraped the condiments off the top bun, returning it back to the sandwich and moving it on to me as my “special order” …

Yeah … that’s the fucking MSM news industry we now have in this country. God is NOT dead … News is dead and zombie-fied. 50% of us now find themselves wandering in an information wilderness rife with tangled vines and quicksand swamps that swallow-up every last ounce of common sense and hunger for fact and truth … What a very rude awakening some in this country are in for … Ready your ice cold buckets of water for those who will awaken … screaming like Hell.

Iraq bombings show progress, challenges

(Chi-Trib Blog)

Today’s bombings in Iraq which left dozens dead is a stark and horrible reminder that, while violence has dropped significantly there as a result of the U.S. military’s surge, that country is still very dangerous.

It’s a measure of progress that today’s blasts, which killed at least 31 people in Baghdad and more elsewhere, according to the Associated Press, represented the worst day of violence since June. Less than two years ago such a time gap in major attacks was unheard of.

But it’s also true that the continuing violence indicates how difficult the challenge will be for President-elect Barack Obama.

He has promised to withdraw all U.S. combat troops from Iraq by early 2010. But if removing U.S. forces were to result in increased violence and instability, that decision could result in criticism from not just Republicans who would say “I told you so” but foreign allies too, especially those in the region who would face the greatest risk from an increasingly unstable Iraq.
