The Shit-Fling As The McPalin Campaign Staff Jumps Ship

I have no patience for this type of people.
This is more common, (and I use THAT word as a stab at their lack of ethics and professionalism), of those who leave their staff positions in administrations, and are looking for the big bucks for writing some negative “tell-all” book about the President. And then media attention to use the airwaves to sell said book(s) and give themselves narcissistic satisfaction.
But this is beneath that. Just days out of an election the rats that staffed the McCain/Palin campaign are now throwing shit at Gov. Palin, like some disgruntled primates at a zoo. Only thing is, when the monkeys throw shit whose shit is it? Their own. You see what I am saying?
These people are trying to save their own asses for future positions in future political campaigns. We knew Gov. Sarah Palin would be thrown some blame … and graciously assume some.
But this is getting beyond the pale in a highly heated election aftermath. Do these people REALLY believe they are doing themselves a service on their future resumes? Trust. Loyalty. Discretion. Professionalism. Those are just a few prerequisites needed to actually hold such an important responsibility as trying to get the next President and VP of the United States elected.
This needs to stop immediately … and if not, Sen. John McCain needs to do the professional, responsible, and honorable thing and step out in at least a public statement in defense of Gov. Palin, and in chastisement of these staffer rats.
Oh, and can we PLEASE shut the fuck up about those fucking clothes that the RNC bought for the Palins, and have been returned? How about we discuss ALL the millions and millions of fucking dollars Obama spent on his campaign, every damn aspect of it … and exactly where it all came from (from whom) and the fact that a lot of it was ILLEGAL????!!!!!?? Is that asking too fucking damn much? I mean, to ME that is a striking indication of the man’s total diregard for the value of money, and the way he is planning on collecting and spending OURS!
1. Nicolle Wallace Will Not Be Thrown Under The Bus (Wonkette)
The Republican equivalent of being sent to the gulag is babysitting Sarah Palin, and this thankless task has fallen to former Bush staffer and current McCain employee Nicolle Wallace. What unspeakable sin did Wallace commit in order to be saddled with this terrible burden? Only History will tell. But for now she insists it is awesome to hang out with Sarah Palin all the time, and also she did not buy her all those clothes like Fred Barnes said she did.
Everybody knows already that Jeff Larson is the human responsible for decorating Sarah Palin with a mountain of expensive European finery when all she wanted was to shuffle around in humble peasant garb forever. But for some reason  sexism perhaps HMMM?  Fred Barnes said on FOX News that Nicolle Wallace bought Sarah Palin all her clothes, which made her, Ms. Wallace, a “coward.â€Â
So then Wallace told Wonkette editor emerita Ana Marie Cox that Fred Barnes could eat a dick, the end. And also this:
Look, in Sarah Palin’s case, first [the media complained] she didn’t give interviews and then the interviews she did were all wrong. There’s a standard applied to her that I don’t see applied to Joe Biden.
Which is totally true, by the way! Here is the “double standardâ€Â: Joe Biden has to give press conferences every day, and Sarah Palin does not.
Anyway, Fred Barnes apologized yesterday, so Nicolle does not have to go under the bus yet.
2. Operation Leper (Redstate)
RedState is pleased to announce it is engaging in a special project: Operation Leper.
We’re tracking down all the people from the McCain campaign now whispering smears against Governor Palin to Carl Cameron and others. Michelle Malkin has the details.
We intend to constantly remind the base about these people, monitor who they are working for, and, when 2012 rolls around, see which candidates hire them. Naturally then, you’ll see us go to war against those candidates.
It is our expressed intention to make these few people political lepers.
They’ll just have to be stuck at CBS with Katie’s failed ratings.
Initial list:
Nicolle Wallace
Steve Schmidt
Mark McKinnon
3. Flashback, Oct. 25th: “These people are going to try and shred her after the campaign to divert blame from themselves” (Ace)
A “McCain aide,” who we can now reasonably conclude is the fired Randy Scheunemann, predicted precisely this.
He names names. Schmidt and Wallace.
Are they behind this? I don’t know. But he predicted they’d do this. And now it’s been done.
4. McCainiacs vs. Palin [Peter Kirsanow - NRO]
The sniping at Sarah Palin is an abomination. I would not, however, assume that staffers loyal to Sen. McCain are responsible.
By that I mean that presidential campaign staffs are large organizations. In the general election, that organization consists not only of individuals selected by the candidate, but an amalgam of individuals from the campaign staffs of his former rivals in the primaries. Those individuals sometimes have agendas that transcend the ticket or the current election. The comments could’ve come from anywhere.
That said, the GOP is going to be spending a long time in the wilderness if this kind of nonsense continues â€â€regardless of the source.
The GOP just got shellacked. There has been a vivid lack of operational discipline, intellectual rigor and commitment to principle in the party over the last several years. And they spend their time in petty, vicious rumor mongering? Where are the adults in the party?
This is a serious time in this country. In case the GOP missed it, Russia just served notice that it’s back in the Cold War business, the economy is on fumes and we just elected a neophyte to heal the planet. Yet some party leaders seem to be going on holiday.
The GOP is the political home for conservatives. Conservatives expect and demand tough, mature, intelligent behavior from their politicians. Deliver.
5. Blamin’ Palin? What Are They Thinking?
By Andrea Tantaros - (FOX)
The general rule among returning Las Vegas vacationers is “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas.†The same is true for professional political staffers returning from life on the campaign trail. Sure you re-hash certain particularly amusing or dramatic anecdotes with friends over a few beers, but you don’t purposefully blab to the national media in an effort to sandbag your candidate.
Not surprisingly, the McCain campaign doesn’t want to abide by the unspoken, but widely understood, rules of political protocol.
Certain campaign “insiders†are, and have been, engaged in an effort to throw Governor Sarah Palin under the bus for –- in their estimation  bringing the McCain ticket down. These Benedict Arnolds have leaked everything from alleged Palin “tantrums†to rumored “shopping sprees†and a seemingly exaggerated tall tale that tries to paint Palin as inappropriate for opening the door to her hotel room one morning in a towel. In my estimation the only thing that smacks of inappropriateness is the behavior of these staffers.
The fact that FOX News’ Carl Cameron ticked off a litany of these accusations, in addition to a specific list of subject areas where the offended felt Palin was less than knowledgeable, reveals their classless effort to undermine her in order to conceal their own shortcomings.
The real narrative is the long list of subject areas where they failed this campaign. We can now add loyalty and professionalism to the growing tally. This is why they didn’t deserve to win. I lost respect for many of McCain’s aides during this election cycle. Now I’m left with none.
Not only should this indiscretion give anyone thinking of hiring these now unemployed staffers extreme pause but it should also showcase why these “insiders†don’t deserve to work in politics again. Not even races for neighborhood dogcatcher, because in politics you protect your boss–win or lose.
The good news is that when Republicans think of the future of the GOP we think of Sarah Palin, not her disgruntled staff.
Governor, when you’re ready to hit the trail again, give me a call.
