Fox News and MSNBC just released the results of the very first exit polls and here are the results. Bash caveat: Please bear in mind how Louie, and others here actually feel about exit polls, or any kind of polls, period. If I was whats-his-name over at some other blog I would have headlined this “The Obligatory Initial Exit Poll results”…

Preliminary Exit Poll Results From Fox News:

12% will be excited if McCain wins

30% will be scared if McCain wins

32% will be excited if Obama wins

23% will be scared if Obama wins

51% say the government should do more to solve problems

43% say the government is doing too much

70% are worried there will be another terrorist attack

27% say they were contacted by Obama camp

19% say they were contacted by Mccain camp

68% favor offshore oil drilling
