As I said yesterday: “it becomes clear that Blagojevich, either directly or through a ranking member of Obama’s staff, made it clear to Obama that he wanted a payment for appointing his man. So why then, did Obama not stand up proudly today and say: “That mfer tried to to shake me down, and so I immediately turned his dumb Polack a** in to the FBI.” Instead, Obama looks us all straight in the eye and says “I didn’t know sh*t about nothin”.
.
Yesterday Obama said he hadn’t been speaking to the biggest one man circus in the history of worldwide politics since the first formation of monkey tribes in Sub Saharan Africa, Illinois Governor Rod Blogolaljaldjvpdosjvpasmnvp’asjv. But his spokesman had just said the exact opposite, and that not only had they spoken, but they’d spoken more than once. So natch, the GOP called bullsh*t, and are demanding records.

You can actually see Barack setting up his explanation when it’s revealed that at least someone on his staff was relaying messages back and forth between Dirty and Dirtier. In the second video he starts to say “we haven’t spoken to him” and quickly catches himself to say “I haven’t spoken to him”.

Ain’t no sunshine ever gonna be in this maybe Presidency of Barack of Kenya or Hawaii.

Politico: (Politico leans left, always keep that in mind.)

Republican National Committee Chairman Mike Duncan called on President-elect Barack Obama Wednesday to disclose any communication he has had with Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, who was arrested Tuesday for allegedly attempting to sell Obama’s Senate seat.

“President-elect Barack Obama’s carefully parsed and vague statements regarding his own contact and that of his team with Governor Rod Blagojevich are unacceptable,” Duncan said in a statement.

“Considering the severity of the allegations against Governor Blagojevich, the President-elect should immediately disclose any and all communications his transition team has had with the governor’s office along with any Service Employees International Union (SEIU) officials involved in the matter. Obama’s promise of transparency to the American people is now being tested,” he added.

Obama acted as an advisor on Blagojevich’s first gubernatorial run and endorsed the governor in his 2006 re-election campaign, but said Tuesday that he has had no recent contact with him.

“I had no contact with the governor or his office and so I was not aware of what was happening,” Obama told reporters yesterday. “It’s a sad day for Illinois. Beyond that, I don’t think it’s appropriate to comment.”

Soon after news broke of Blagojevich’s arrest, the RNC was quick to jump and the story and highlight the president-elect’s past interactions with the disgraced governor.

“In light of the arrests in Illinois today, please recall the below points,” RNC spokesman Alex Conant wrote in an email to reporters, highlighting past Obama quotes showing support for Blagojevich.
