Dalai Lama And President Bush “Very Close”

Earlier today in Prague, The Dalai Lama claimed that he loved President Bush despite some of his policies, which:
“To be honest, some [of his policies] have been a disaster, but as a person, I love him, he is open, very truthful.”
The spiritual leader further remarked about the outgoing President, saying “At the first meeting, we were very close” before moving on the talk about the state of the global community, appealing to them to show firmness and determination when dealing with China, saying that good friends could cope with criticism.
The Dalai Lama, to the dismay of the Chinese government, was received into the White House in October of last year. In September of this year, China issued a warning to the USA to “stop interfering” with it’s affairs after President Bush inquired and voiced concerns about the Spiritual Leader’s health.
