Dec 20 – A cyclone across Russia’s Kamchatka peninsula on Friday (December 19) brought heavy rains and snowfall to the region’s central city Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
Some areas of the Kamchatka peninsula in Russia’s Far East were brought to a complete standstill as the cyclone affected the city’s energy supply and travel routes. The regional airport has also been closed.
