Barack Obama Soprano and the rest of the Chicago sewer rats who’ve conned their way into the White House are doing a bang-up job with this “new type of politics” aren’t they? You know, the type where you pretend to be somebody you aren’t, fill the air with empty rhetoric based on nothing more than what your calculations and polls tell you the voters want to hear, lie about what you have done and what you really intend to do, outspend your opponents at all costs, stuff the ballot boxes (Acorn), intimidate the press, and then are almost never touched by scandal while in office?

Oh, and anybody stop to consider that this massive new Federal Works program he’s proposed may just be a Federal-level imitation of one of the oldest political schemes in Chicago? The one where you order all sorts of public works expressly to line your pockets through kickbacks from those you award the supply and labor contracts to? Isn’t it just a little weird that his economic recovery plan is so precisely based on one of those “political crime spree” cons that he watched unfold before his eyes every day in the Windy City?
