Is today, because this is the day all of the action really starts around here. I’m just pulling out of a bad flu which tripped me up for the kick-off this year, but at about 72% of good health, I’m at enough to hit the ground running. We all have a very big year ahead of us, confronting the great evil of the pretender administration which has seized control of the government, and the zombie media which sold him to an unwitting public, whose own reputations are now so intwined with El Presidente 0′s, that are too shamfaced to report the truth as they are now discovering it. To paraphrase Mike Barnicle in response to Joe Scarborough’s demand for an explanation as to why the media, lawyers, and detectives were all over Alaska digging for any scrap of dirt they could find about Sarah Palin, but criminally absent from any similar activities in “Chicagoland”, “We didn’t vet him because we could just tell he was a good guy.”

Yeah? Well then how come the biggest scandal in American politics was in fact started by El Presidente 0 himself when he ordered Rahm Emanuel to call Blagojevich and demand that he appoint one of a handful of 0′s choices as his Senate replacement? That is far too big of a demand by a President to be considered in any way ethical. And why is it that Blagojevich’s overwhelmed response of “Yeah? Well what’s in it for me?” is deemed as the only scandalous act in all of this? And why was such a scandalous and illegal request not reported to any authorities by Emanuel or 0? If they were being asked for a bribe, how could they in any good conscience not report this fact?

And there is so much more, and we will get to it. I have information coming out of Hawaii and other areas of his background like a fountain.

And there is so much everyone can do. The administration and the media can only fend off so many legitimate attacks, they can only cover up so many lies and so much malfeasance. I spoke to one reader tonight who called a television station to correct inaccurate positive reporting about El Presidente 0. One such action every day by everyone begins to have a corrosive and damaging effect on the Machine. There is so much more everyone can do beyond read. We hope here to have a very active and productive year helping to guide everyone’s efforts and provide a forum for ideas, action and the growth of community and teamwork.

This Sunday on the Jihadi Killer Hour our guest will be Jeff of Hollywood Trenches, and next Sunday, January 18th, it will be Robert Spencer the director of Jihad Watch, a program of the David Horowitz Freedom Center, and the author of eight books on Islam and jihad, including the New York Times bestsellers The Truth About Muhammad and The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam (and the Crusades). Spencer is a weekly columnist for Human Events and FrontPage Magazine, and has led seminars on Islam and jihad for the United States Central Command, United States Army Command and General Staff College, the FBI, the Joint Terrorism Task Force, and the U.S. intelligence community.

On the 25th we have a special surprise guest from the other side of the political fence, and for the first week of February we have Larry Sinclair.

And…it’s looking like we are starting to get such a number of guests that the show will be expanded to twice a week, Sundays and Wednesdays, perhaps even before February, so look for more announcements soon.

Impeached. But not convicted.

Politico:

The Illinois House has voted to impeach Gov. Rod Blagojevich.

The State Senate will rule on whether to convict the governor of corruption and abuse of power.

Blagojevich never had a good relationship with the House and its leader, Michael Madigan; his prospects are thought to be just slightly better in the Senate, and his political maneuvering — including the Burris nomination — has always been aimed at the Senate trial. A two-thirds majority — which would include more than half of the body’s Democrats — is required to impeach.
