Breaking: GOP Sends Letter To Obama On Stimulus

House GOP Leaders are going to be sending a letter to President Obama today requesting a meeting to discuss our stimulus ideas.

Obama press secretary Robert Gibbs will not address reporters today, as was originally planned. An Obama aide said that Gibbs would brief tomorrow, though.

POTUS will appear at an Open House at an as-of-yet undisclosed White House grounds location at 2:30 p.m. and then will separate meetings with his economic and national security advisers.

An Obama aide said POTUS would be joined by National Economic Council director Larry Summers, OMB chief Peter Orszag and Melody Barnes, the White House Domestic Policy Council director.

Obama arrived at the National Cathedral for prayer service around 9:40 a.m.
