Obama’s stimulus package contains more money for arts education that for aid and stimulus to samll businesses.

Funnily, hours after yesterday’s “Deep Thoughts” headline, Fred Barnes said, half-jokingly, “I think it’s now clear the Obama administration is a total failure.” And then he laughed, and said “there are people on the internet saying that.”

Neil Cavuto today to Obama on his stimulus package: “You’re going off a bridge. Don’t ask us to follow you.”

Ever notice when libtards aren’t bitching about something, they say a lot of “ums”, “ahs”, & “unhs”? Funny thing, that. Good observation.

    Re the press secretary:
The bastards took will never be forgiven for taking Dana Perino from us.

  4. Hardball1911(Revolutionary Constitutionalist)

Not just people on the internet saying it.

We’re saying it in public too.

Arts and entertainment are surely going to save the economy and build job opportunities. At least in the propaganda field…

  5. Either I’m becoming a total tool, or a microcosm of Iggy…

Was planning on heading back to Richmond, to take care of some matters, then bring some stuff up for my best friend, whom returned to his apartment after Break, only to find his room robbed of about $2000 in electronics.

Well, the College Republicans also are having their statewide elections for offices, and Tech’s chapter decided to make me one of the delegates. I’d be lying if that was the only reason I am going; there are two CR babes, I’m pursuing. One is from Tech (and is hoping to become CRV’s chairperson), the other is from JMU (and will be a delegate, as well). Might also have to undermine some potential romantic rivals. The things women can make us do for them…

    —————————

If he said it, he meant it and the laughing was just a way to cover up his feelings. He is correct.

Heading to Vegas tomorrow. Anyone else gonna be out that way?

And where’s a good range out there? I’d like to get my hands on some full auto rock n roll.

Wow, Fred Barnes actually has a pair.

I say that cos in the last 18 months you wouldn’t have guessed it.

  9. Yesterday I was led to read this

    Ecc. 10:20
20 Do not revile the king even in your thoughts,
or curse the rich in your bedroom,
because a bird of the air may carry your words,
and a bird on the wing may report what you say.

The whole chapter is worthy of thought right now given our new leader and his cult creating rhetoric.

    Hey Pat
I don’t mean to bug you but did you get my e-mail? The one that says, “I am f!@#$%g serious”
    just curious

  10. I liked this. An editorial from the London Daily Mail on Obama’s Victory:

A victory for the hysterical Oprah Winfrey, the mad
racist preacher Jeremiah Wright, the mainstream media
who abandoned any sense of objectivity long ago,
Europeans who despise America largely because they
depend on her, comics who claim to be dangerous and
fearless, but would not dare attack genuinely powerful
    special interest groups.

    A victory for Obama-worshippers everywhere. A victory
for the cult of the cult. A man who has done little
with his life but has written about his achievements
as if he had found the cure for cancer in between
winning a marathon and building a nuclear reactor with
his teeth. Victory for style over substance, hyperbole
over history, rabble-raising [sic] over reality.

A victory for Hollywood , the most dysfunctional
community in the world. Victory for Streisand,
    Spielberg, Soros and Sarandon.

Victory for those who prefer welfare to will and
interference to independence. For those who settle for
group-think and herd mentality rather than those who
fight for individual initiative and the right to be
out of step with meager political fashion.

Victory for a man who is no friend of freedom. He and
his people have already stated that media have to be
controlled so as to be balanced, without realizing the
extraordinary irony within that statement. Like most
liberal zealots, the Obama worshippers constantly
speak of Fox and Limbaugh, when the vast bulk of
television stations and newspapers are extremely
liberal and anti-conservative. Senior Democrat Chuck
Schumer said that just as pornography should be
censored, so should talk radio. In other words, one of
the few free and open means of popular expression may
well be cornered and beaten by bullies who even in
triumph cannot tolerate any criticism and opposition.

A victory for those who believe the state is better
qualified to raise children than the family, for those
who prefer teachers’ unions to teaching and for those
who are naively convinced that if the West is
sufficiently weak towards its enemies, war and terror
will dissolve as quickly as the tears on the face of a
    leftist celebrity.

A victory for social democracy even after most of
Europe has come to the painful conclusion that social
democracy leads to mediocrity, failure, unemployment,
inflation, higher taxes and economic stagnation. A
victory for intrusive lawyers, banal sentimentalists,
    social extremists and urban snobs.

    Congratulations, America :gun:

I have said on more than one occasion that Bobby Jindal lacks the charisma of Sarah Palin. Well I stand to be corrected after watching this YouTube clip.

Warning if you are an Ohio St. fan don’t get too pissed.

These are those he is referring to in the speech:
    1. Sheriff Harry Lee (the Chineses Cajun now deceased)
    2. Former Governor Kathleen Blanco and the Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (under her direction) who directed the boat rescue operation according to DNC.

  13. Hardball1911(Revolutionary Constitutionalist)

    Palin/Jindal?

    I can see it…

    Jindal/Palin?

    I can see that too…

    Jenny-O,

“Victory for those who prefer welfare to will and interference to independence. For those who settle for group-think and herd mentality rather than those who fight for individual initiative and the right to be out of step with meager political fashion.”

I liked the editorial, and think that this one paragraph may be the summary of the distinctions between us and them. Read broadly, I think, every disagreement that the liberty and America loving of us have with the left can be covered in these few words.

    Thanks for posting that.

 Jenny O, I didn’t even realize there was a brain left in Europe. Thanks for putting that up.

    “Lest I continue
    My complacent way
Help me to remember Somewhere out there
A man died for me today.
As long as there be war,
    I then must
    Ask and answer
    Am I worth dying for?”

  17. Kermit

    Knottie
How appropriate! As for me, am I just posting in website forums, buying weapons, stashing away gold, stockpiling consumable items, etc… Or am I involved citizen with my all of my elected officials and helping in the field to elect the good ones.

If I am only doing the former tasks, then I AM NOT worth dying for.
