Yesterday afternoon on MSNBC, Chris Matthews and guests were remarking on the Obamas who were in the viewing stand watching over the parade. One of the guests made an observation that “America voted for an intellect and a temperament” instead of a record of experience. Funny, I don’t see how a personality trait(s) can run the free world.
Then Chrissy chimed in about how they just “chat with ea More..ch other” like regular people…but that they were “hip, modern and equal,” and not “traditional.” What? How are they not “traditional,” Chris? They are a married couple with two children. What’s not “traditional” about that? Oh, yeah….”traditional” people probably don’t send that thrill up your leg, now do they?
Thank goodness for Nora O’Donnell, because she really set the record straight for all of those who haven’t yet realized it - the Obamas are not royalty. Gee, thanks for that tidbit of info, Nora…I wouldn’t have known that otherwise.
