Obama Inauguration Challenged: Flubbed Oath May End Up In Courts – With Video

Both Roberts and Obama f-ed it up. Seems like Roberts’ mind wanted to be anywhere but there. It’s kind of hilarious, it’s almost like he screwed with the guy who wouldn’t vote to approve him as Chief Justice. Now there’s talk that suits may be filed, because Obama did not actually take the oath, because, and this is true, it was not ever correctly spoken by him. But just barely, and not meaningfully, because he put the word “faithfully” after “office of President of the United States” instead of before.
The whole issue is technically meaningless and gay, but the whole incident is freaking hilarious. Roberts has to be dragged kicking and screaming into acknowledging him as President. He first says Obama will execute duties “to” the President instead of “of” The President. Nerves, maybe, but I can’t help but think that all that pressure on him about swearing in someone he knows hasn’t established his citizenship led him to throw Obama’s signature bird-flip right back in his face. Either way, it’s immortalized in the history books now. Watch:
