And this is the “President” and his Mullahs/Imams we are forced to deal with today …
52 U.S. diplomats were held hostage for 444 days from November 4, 1979 to January 20, 1981 (just moments after Pres. Ronald Reagan was sworn into office).
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was there too … He was the ’seed’ by which the evil tree of terror and radical Islam have grown.
1. In the 1970s, Iranians were VERY pro-U.S. but did not care for the British or the Germans.
2. The Shah’s government paid money to the mullahs until 1977. Also, his White Reform planned to take land from the mullahs and portion out to poorer people.
3. After American hostages were taken in late 1979 (under Khomeini), the demonstrators outside the American Embassy were paid to protest. Some were bussed in from a very poor city south of Tehran known as “Ray.” Others heard they were receiving $10 - $15 each (plus a sandwich) and brought their families.
4. Approx. 25% - 30% of Iranians wanted Khomeini. After a few months, it was only about 15%.
5. The Communists started agitating against the Shah first and the mullahs eventually took over. Khomeini executed many of the Communists.
6. Within a few weeks of taking over Iran, Khomeini had incarcerated approx. 90,000 people, most of whom were executed. Another 30,000 were executed in 1988, and many inbetween. HOWEVER, under the Shah’s regime, there were “never more than 3,200 so-called political detainees, and most of these were terrorists.” (Answers to History by the Shah of Iran). The Shah allowed the Int’l Red Cross to visit all the penitentiaries of Iran.
7. Khomeini had promised the Imperial Iranian military immunity if they laid down their weapons…but he lied.
8. Besides most of the Iranian generals who had served as division commanders under the Shah being executed, here’s a list of others, including civilians:
“Among published names of the assassinated were ministers and secretaries of state, diplomats, parliamentarians, governors of provinces, mayors and municipal counsellors, numerous generals and officers from the army, junior officers, ordinary soldiers, police officers and officers of state police, journalists, editors and radio reporters, magistrates, lawyers, religious authorities, doctors, professors, sports figures, and businessmen.” (Answers to History by the Shah of Iran)
9. Present day Iran’s inflation is so bad and jobs are so hard to come by that many women and girls have turned to prostitution. Many homeless people on the streets, including children (Khomeini closed down orphanges)
A quote from the Ayatollah Khomeini acknowledging Islam is a religion of war, not peace:
“Those who know nothing of Islam pretend that Islam counsels against war. Those [who say this] are witless. Islam says: Kill all the unbelievers just as they would kill you all! Does this mean that Muslims should sit back until they are devoured by [the unbelievers]? Islam says: Kill them, put them to the sword and scatter [their armies]…. Islam says: Whatever good there is exists thanks to the sword and in the shadow of the sword! People cannot be made obedient except with the sword! The sword is the key to Paradise, which can be opened only for the Holy Warriors! There are hundreds of other [Qur’anic] psalms and Hadiths [sayings of the Prophet] urging Muslims to value war and to fight. Does all this mean that Islam is a religion that prevents men from waging war? I spit upon those foolish souls who make such a claim.â€Â
