At War With Obama, Howard Dean Forced To Start New Life Overseas
Okay, here’s how shut out the guy is. Go to yahoo’s news photo page. it’s such a prime source for news photos, it’s Drudge’s main stop. They carry recent and file photos by AP, Reuters, AFP, all the wires. Go into search, pick “news photos” as your category, and search for his name. You’ll come up with only one result, and it’s actually a picture of Karl Rove, with the faintest hint of Howard Dean at the far left. Is this an accident? No. Given that he gave an interview to AP, it’s most likely he had photos taken, unless it was just a phoner. But there should still be available file photos of him. Nyet. This is no accident. Yahoo and the wires know how controversial this is for Obama. He’s been scrubbed.
WASHINGTON - Outgoing Democratic Party Chairman Howard Dean says he would have liked to work in the Obama administration, but instead he’s going into private life.
Dean told The Associated Press in an interview Friday that he is weighing where to next take his career after 30 years in politics. His term as party chairman ends Wednesday.
Some of his supporters have been upset that President-elect Barack Obama did not pick him for an administration job. When asked how he felt, Dean said it “would have been great” to be in the Cabinet but that is Obama’s choice to make.
Dean says he plans to make some money giving speeches and share ideas about campaigns and technology with center-left political parties in other countries.
