Rush: “Obama Wants Me To Fail”
The Boston Herald: Right-wing radio host Rush Limbaugh took aim today at President Barack Obama’s warning to top Republicans that they need to quit listening to the conservative talker if they want to get along.
“Now this is the great unifier,†Limbaugh told listeners just after noon today. “This is the man who’s going to unify everybody and usher in a new era of bi-partisanship and love.â€
According to the New York Post, Obama told top Republican leaders on Friday that they need to stop listening to Limbaugh if they want to get along with Democrats and the new administration. Obama’s comments came during a White House meeting to discuss his $1 trillion stimulus package, the newspaper reported.
“You can’t just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done,†Obama told top GOP leaders, according to the Post.
According to Limbaugh, Obama “basically told them stop listening to me. That’s not how things get done in Washington. We can’t let Rush Limbaugh stall the stimulus plan.â€
Limbaugh, heard locally on WRKO-AM (680), said today that Obama’s more frightened of him than Senate Minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) and House Minority leader John Boehner (R-Ohio).
“He’s obviously more frightened of me than he is Mitch McConnell. He’s more frightened of me, then he is of say, John Boehner, which doesn’t say much about our party,†Limbaugh said.
Limbaugh today planned to unveil his own bipartisan plan to “resolve the fight over the stimulus package.â€
“I think Obama wants me to fail,†Limbaugh said. “President Obama, by telling you and the elected Republicans in Washington to not listen to me because I am not how things get done in Washington, he has said that he wants me to fail.â€
Limbaugh has said that he wants Obama’s socialist policies to fail.
“I would be honored if the drive-by media headlined me all day long: ‘Limbaugh: I Hope Obama Fails.’ Somebody’s gotta say it,” Limbaugh said during his Jan. 16 show, according to a transcript on his Web site.

This could possibly be one of the greatest gifts Hussein could give Rush. When the Theft Act goes through and everything goes into the tank, Hussein’s approval ratings will plummet and Rush’s listeners will most likely go up. “I won” and “Don’t listen to Limbaugh!”; this jackass sounds like a petulant 2nd grader rather than the leader of the free world. Just keep up w/ the hoof-in-mouth disease, Hussein, we’ll take it from there.

Please respond to him and all the heads of departments and agencies with attachment of this order and executive order from Bush and demand from this fraud his original birth certificate, passports from Indonesia and Kenya, his immigration records and school/university registrations. You may also want to ask him to resign due to the fact that he failed to provide any records verifying that he is a natural Born citizen, you may want to ask those departments to investigate and start the indictment process.”

I love Rush! Always to the point, and with a bit of humor to boot. A true conservative voice that has led the way in knocking down the pretentions of both the Dems and Reps. We need someone like this to run for President and BHO and Ron Paul proved you can raise the money on the internet to support anyone.
Not to come off like a worrying Nanny, pain in the ass, but I wish Rush would take better care of himself. I’d like to see him lose some weight and make sure his heart and constitution stay healthy.
If there was ever a time that I appreciate Rush, its now.

The Child in Chief. Yet, how does it hurt given that adults already oppose him and his followers are but kids themselves in awe of the bratty and “cool” kid pulling pranks on the “silly” adults?
With Obama there is no room for desent. The messiah (little M) expects his minions to fall in line and bow to his brilliance.
