Fox and other sources are reporting Gov. Sarah Palin has started her own PAC.

ASK not what Sarah Palin can do for your country, ask only what you can do for Sarah Palin. And the an swer is, pay attention. Trust me, Alaska’s governor is moving faster than those glaciers.
Traveling with one of her ladies-in-waiting and invited by a rich GOPnik, she’ll be at Saturday’s invite-only/political mandarins-only Alfalfa Club dinner in DC. This club began back aways to honor Gen. Robert E. Lee whom, you may recall, did a little something in the Civil War. Why it exists, I don’t know. What it does, I don’t know. I only know it’s too exclusive to include someone like me and is so high-powered that sitting US presidents attend, which means Obama should show. Anyway, Sarah will be there, and that’s meaningful because this lady may only leave the frozen tundra two days a month.
She’s also launching her national political action committee. Registered in Virginia, patterned after Hillary’s HillPac, Sarahpac.com is to support ideas and candidates who share the Palin vision that energy independence is this country’s future.
Next month she addresses a Washington gathering of prominent conservatives. She’s going ahead with a book. Her Facebook page has 410,000 friends. She wants to influence policy knowing the nation must turn to Alaska as its energy resource. She’s planning to be president.

I like her but not as my president, no way. We need a candidate with balls and brains, lots of both preferably if we want to dethrone the messiah in 2012. A candidate with the business savy of a Jack Welch and the political will of a Ronald Reagan would be perfect and electable. I just don’t think Palin has what it takes to pull it off, I think she cracked under the pressure of the liberal media. First by even going on with the like of Couric, then by complaining about the bias afterwards, she should have know there would be bias on network TV.
I agree with Buck. I say her talents and charisma would be better spent coordinating efforts to install Republicans in office. She has that gift.
Palin has beaucoups experience dealing with the sick-twisted leftist press at this point. All she has to do is refine her delivery. I already like her. But I’d like to see her slap the media around some.
If she comes out the box swinging, she’ll knock out a Hitlery candidacy and by that time Obambi will be so fucked up that enough of the 63 million suckers that voted for him, we’ll be crying for “change” that we can believe in instead of the current Obaminot Dope N Chump Change.

If Palin had balls she would be a MAN.. She sure as hell is better than what is currently serving in the house and senate (a sorry bunch to be sure) and I don’t see a Governor out there that can compare to her achievements in Alaska. I’m in her corner until/IF someone comes climbing out their hole they are hiding in to change my mind. SHE is the ONLY reason I voted for Sidney.

It was the McCain camp who mishandled her so badly. They threw her to the wolves only days of leaving Alaska entering a national sceane. By 2012 she will have the polish and some D.C. experiance she needs for a re-do on the national sceane.
I hope with Jindal now thats a ticket of proven real reform!

Sarah Palin is more qualified then I am to be President of this country… and I am more then qualified to be President of this country.
Sarah’s less-then ’stellar’ performance on the ‘national’ stage was entirely due to being saddled with McLame the Moronic (alias: McCain the Maverick). Also every American, including ‘our’ Presidential candidates, has every right to complain about the blatantly manipulative, totally dishonest news media.
I’m sick of having the fate of my country (ultimately my fate as well) determined by a bunch of lying, stupid, traitorous, propagandists. These ignorant people whose only real expertise is drinking, drug using, and fornicating all four of those years it took them to get their ‘elite’ degrees in Journalism.
I’m especially sick of people who allow the Orwellian media to determine what they ’should’ think about ANY political candidate. A hack-TV camera [censored] like Katie Couric is nothing special. Virtually all TV ‘news’ people today are mere two-bit actors - who are overpaid to ‘act’ like they are educated, well informed professionals of integrity (what a joke).
Sarah Palin’s “lack of experience” at being a two-faced lying, pandering, media courting, manipulated pawn and/or product of radical-527s IS EXACTLY the kind of future candidate ‘we’ should be looking for.
I myself would prefer Bobby Jindal but if Sarah is serious about running than HELL YEAH I’ll support her! I’m a bit twitchy about having her run because she still carries the stigma of being on the losing side. She does a fantastastic job with the GOP base but demographic shifts have favored minorities who tend to overwhelmingly vote democrat.
Its all academic at this point. If the Messiah fucks up as bad we think he will and especially if another tall building collapses in flames then Palin will pummel his ass in 2012.
I really like Sara but she will have to be willing to come around on some of her views. It will be hard for any women to get elected with her stand on abortion. She needs to make some concessions on that issue or she has no chance in this day and age.
Can’t wait for the polls to open in 2012. I hope someone like Romney will be VP.

I think some here take any criticism of Palin, far too personally.
Make no mistake about it, if she gets the nod in 2012, I’ll campaign for her as hard as any other promising candidate. I’ve seen first-hand how she can rally the base.
It’s just that I feel this move of hers is a bit presumptuous; that is, 2012 is a LONG time away. Anything could happen between now, and then. We’d all like to think of Palin as incorruptible, which as far as we know at this point, she has yet to engage in any such activity. However, politics is a dirty business (no matter at what level), and even bonafide American heroes like “Duke” Cunningham can fall prey to it.
My stance is not to have any horse in this race, just yet. Someone, anyone can emerge that could gain traction within the Republican base and the American public.
In the meantime, I’m gonna do everything I can to rein in the swell of socialism.

Is it just me being paranoid, or is it possible McCain threw the election and tried to destroy Palin in the process? Either that or his heart just wasn’t in it. I wish Sarah would have waited until 2012 to run. By then that grandchild would be 4 years old, and it would have been old news. People on the left were soooo hateful about that.
Im with Andy. She took down corruption in her party and state, so shes genuine so far, but she hasn’t proven to me she fully grasps all issues domestic and foreign. I wouldn’t feel comfortable as of today making her the nominee. Hopefully we will have someone who knows his/her shit and wont refuse to fight obama in the election, like McCain. Knowledge, Integrity, Balls in 2012.
