Her comment about most couples being married is true, however a wedding ring stops nothing. At Katie Belle's there is a whole group of people some married some not who are looking for someone, anyone, to knoodle with and they don't care if that person is married or not. A lot of marriages are broken at the Villages and when the divorce is done, both of them are usually looking for a job again. Very sad. THere may be many, desperate active single seniors, but I assure you, with the majority being married couples, you do not see this as is being reported in the articles recently. Most of the seniors are active in sports and enjoying the wonderful entertainment that The Villages offers at many of its venues. This is a wonderful place to live - beautiful, clean, and the weather is great. I have lived here for a number of years and have not witnessed what is being reported.
