    Dick Cheney with all of his heart problems flew into Iraq, and went to Camp Ramadi in 2006 to award Marines the Bronze Star with Combat V’s. Obama in all of his youthfulness, being so much younger than John McCain; can’t make a trip? It would probably just interfere with his trip to Morocco. I’m not a religious person by any means, but I was brought up in a Christian family. Doesn’t the Bible talk about the Beast being so big that he could be seen all around the world. Hmmm…. I bet every country in the world had a channel airing the inauguration….. Strange

    Apparently, the crowds were not as large as the TV cameras showed. Instead a satellite photo shows an estimated 800,000 for the inauguration.

    As Pat well knows, camera angles can make anything look larger, like Schwartzennager (who was not that tall when he stood next to my 5’10″ height) and many actors who are pretty short, but look tall in films.

    In college, SMU and Wash U., I lived with women who where getting abortions like hair-cuts. It fucked them up BAD. I don’t blame them, I would have done what they did, they were young, scared, broke…they did not know how it would effect the rest of their lives.
    It is against nature to do such things and history has not been kind to cultures who have sacrificed babies for convenience and money.

    It is impossible to just announce drilling then drill in any water. A lot of survey and analysis has to occur firt before companies are going to poor billions into their efforts. Kinda like investing in Venezuela right now, who the heck knows what is going to happen.

    A very good example of the kind of representation we have in congress: A noted psychiatrist was a guest speaker at an academic function where Nancy Pelosi happened to appear.

    Ms Pelosi took the opportunity to schmooze the good doctor a bit and asked him a question with which he was most at ease.
