NOT the Carter years. I remember having to go (like I needed an excuse) to a popular bar and find out from one of the barmaids which gas station was opening up at midnight for an hour. And no down South we had no fuel shortages until Carter. None at all.
Let’s just remember that without Carter the public would not have elected a Reagan. Without NMP now in office, the public will not elect _____ in Nov. 2012.

Those who don’t learn from history are doomed to repeat it…or words to that effect. Kennedy, Reagan & Bush pushed through “unpopular” tax cuts and the economy started to rock and roll. Bush 41 and Clinton implemented tax increases and the economy took a nose dive, although Bush 41 was pretty much railroaded into doing it against his better judgment. If we’re really in a world of sh*t now, wait until they let the Bush tax cuts expire. Run for the unemployment office…
I might have told this story already, but I’m going to tell it again.
I went to re-sign my lease at my apartment complex last week, and I said (making small talk) “geez, the rent just keeps going up and up, doesn’t it?” The girl in the office said “Yeah, the rich just keep getting richer, and the poor keep getting poorer.” Aha! I finally have a chance!!
I said “Hey, I’m GLAD the rich are getting richer. Who else provides jobs? I’ve never gotten hired by a poor person, have you?” and she said “well, I guess that’s one way to look at it.”
Damn skippy it is! We NEED to look at it this way, because DAMNIT the MSM is trying to push the rest of us down into an unrelenting state of mental depression. We CANNOT let that happen!
As an Ohioan, I can not believe Kucinich is a congressman from my great State, Thank God I live In John(Obama is a ChickenShit) Boehner’s district.
To all of you out there, let me apologize for putting this guy out into the world- The voters in Cleveland (Kucinich’s district) are idiots.
So Dennis the Menace thinks that only 3% of the “stimulus” getting into the market the first year is the best that can be done? Eliminate the capital gains tax, cut income tax rates and you’ll see results in a month, certainly a quarter — but he knows that, the creep.
