If you do a Google search on the word “Allahâ€, you will find that in Western dictionaries, the word means “Godâ€. But is Allah really God or something else? Do Christians and Muslims worship the same God as the History Channel would have us think? Or is Allah something other than God?
A little research reveals that Allah is not God. In fact he never existed at all; except in the minds of the Ishmaelite tribes that lived in Arabia at the time of Mohammed.
As we have discussed repeatedly, the pre-Muslim world worshipped 360 different gods one of which was Allah. Allah was the favorite god of the Quraysh tribe into which Muhammad was born. The literal Arabic name of Muhammad’s father was Abd-Allah. His uncle’s name was Obied-Allah. These names reveal the personal devotion that Muhammad’s pagan family had to the worship of Allah, the moon god.
The name Allah was well-known in the timeframe that Muslims call Jahilliya or pre-Islamic Arabia. Both the male and feminine form “Allat†are found in Arabic inscriptions prior to Islam.
In pre-Islamic times Allah-worship, as well as the worship of Ba-al, were both astral religions in that they involved the worship of the sun, the moon, and the stars
The Arabians reversed the sex of their sun and moon gods from the way Egyptians had worshipped them. The sun god was viewed as a female goddess and the moon as the male god. The moon god was called by various names, one of which was Allah. Allah, the moon god, was married to the sun goddess. Together they produced three goddesses who were called “the daughters of Allah.” These three goddesses were called Al-Lat, Al-Uzza, and Manat.
Interesting that the Qu’ran is correct when it says that Allah had no son. (Sura 19 Aya 88-92). That’s because Allah had three daughters!!!!!
“The daughters of Allah, along with Allah and the sun goddess were viewed as “high” gods. That is, they were viewed as being at the top of the pantheon of Arabian deities.“
The origin of the word Allah comes from the compound Arabic word al-ilah. Al is the definite article “the” and ilah is an Arabic word for “god.”
“The word “Ilah . . . appears in pre-Islamic poetry . . . By frequency of usage, al-ilah was contracted to Allah, frequently attested to in pre-Islamic poetry.â€
However, Allah is neither a Hebrew or Greek word for God; as found in the Bible. “Allah” is a pre-Islamic name . . . corresponding to the Babylonian’ Bel’.
“The origin of this deity goes back to pre-Muslim times. Allah is not a common name meaning “God” (or a “god”), and the Muslim must use another word or form if he wishes to indicate any other than his own peculiar deity”
There is no reason, therefore, to accept the idea, that the concept, or worship of, Allah somehow passed to the Muslims from the Christians and Jews. Nor should anyone accept that Allah is anything but a pagan non-entity whose worship is symbolized by the crescent moon. (which is the symbol of moon-god worship).

Got into an argument last night with a friend. He insisted that if you read a “true” translation of the Koran that it is not filled with violence and hatred. He wouldn’t be convinced otherwise. I keep wondering what “true” translation he is speaking of.
The New Testament tells how the Christians have to regard Islam. The apostle John wrote in his first letter, “Every spirit which does not acknowledge that Jesus has come in the flesh…
is the spirit of the antichrist…” (1 John 2:18-23; 4:1-6).
“We must therefore confess with all humility that the spirit in Islam is the spirit of the antichrist.
Muhammad had heard much about Jesus, but, in spite of all, he denied the crucified Son of God.”

WestCoastGirl, did your friend happen to discuss taquiya by any chance? I doubt it as it makes his argument moot. If the Koran was “truly” a work of peace, love and tolerance there would be no reason for the term scrawled across the rack in the pic above.
The Quran is simply one madman’s handbook on mass murder and oppression passed down through the ages. It’s a manual to subjugate, to terrorize and to destroy the free will of every man, woman and child. It’s the anti-bill-of-rights, and its goals of worldwide supremacy are clearly laid out.

there is a correction, 90% of people have not read it because in many islamic countries, 90% is their illiteracy rates. for fun go to the cia factbook and look up the islamic countries and their literacy rates. horrific is an understatement…and worse among women….surprise surprise surprise.
also as a side note, in the christian world the reformation w/martin luther translating the bible was possible. in islam, the only true version of their book is in arabic….it forbids direct translation as blasphemy….but interpretation is ok. so when you have people quote the english or german versions, ask what it says in arabic since that is the only version that matters. most cases don’t know. and when you read the arabic version….not good….
I have entered the realm of no going back. My intelligence class has a Blog/Forum for the specific use of posting up and coming technologies, rising ideas and theories(including memes), emergent behavior, crowdsourcing, etc. etc. I posted a short summary of a theory utilizing common memes, suggesting that islam is an expansionist political ideology supported by a religious component, and that the only way to predict the future actions of our enemies, and potential enemies, is to understand their motivating factors, their ability to control resources, and the common longterm goals shared between our enemies and their strategic/geographical partners. It will be sure to spark some seriously energetic debate. Hopefully I won’t get kicked out of school for hate speech….

After seeing that photo I have a sudden urge to practice braile.
Most people just repeat what they are told. If anything is repeated often enough and for a long enough time, people think this qualifies a statement or belief as truth.
The infamous Nazi head of propaganda, Joseph Goebbels, wrote, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.â€
I think Goebbels made an insightful statement there.. The Koran is one such big lie.
Years ago, I decided to stop being a sheep and study any of these western held orthodoxies myself. I read the Bible and have come to the conclusion that it is true. I read the Koran and came to the opposite conclusion.
Most people make tired old pseudo-intellectual statements trying to impress the hearer on subjects they were either too lazy or stupid to have researched themselves. When confronted by a statement like “the Koran really is a book of peace” it can easily be dismantled by asking them how they know that. Either they’ll be honest and just say they heard it somewhere or they’ll take personal offense and get pissed. Dan is also right that Allah is the moon god. He is not Yahweh. He’s a tribal fictional god.
Islam is an ideology that does not allow for the separation of church and state. It’s a false religio-political faith that must be defeated in the market place of ideas. The only alternative is total war. That means trying to kill 1 billion people.
Jesus said, “Therefore, as you go, disciple people in all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit.”
He never said to kill them all if the refused.

To the complaint that Islam is best understood by reading the Qu’ran in Arabic or that it loses its original meaning in English is pure hogwash.
Here are ENGLISH versions of the Qu’ran that are outstanding translations and recognized by Islamic scholars as such.
The excellent Yusuf Ali English translation.
Mohammed Marmaduke Pickthall (1875-1936) [1930]
J.M. Rodwell [1876] Another major Quran translation from the 19th century.
The Bible by contrast was written in several languages, Hebrew Chaldean, Arameic, and Greek. Its English counterpart is true to the original languages. We have the manuscripts to prove it.
There are some words in the old Hebrew that have only one or two words in English. But they mean the same thing.
Same for the Greek. Love is one word in English but can mean many things. Whereas in Greek there are three words that denote and specify the meaning of love. The translations are true to those original meanings.
Same with the Qu’ran. Try this experiment. Find a native Arabic speaker, have him read a verse in Arabic and translate it into English. Then go and read the same verse in English in an English version of the Qu’ran.
Guess what….they’re the same.
One caveat on the Qu’ran: There are no original manuscripts or copies prior to AD 800 of the Qu’ran. So while the Christian NT was being distributed to the 1st Century church as it was being written starting in AD 50 and ending by AD 90, the Qu’ran by contrast was not assembled By Muhammed, but by his followers almost two centuries after his death.
The histocracy of the NT is stellar. The same cannot be said of the Qu’ran whose original texts and manuscripts are gone.

St. John supposes in his Epistles that the early Christians are acquainted with the teaching concerning the coming of Antichrist.

The Koran is a proof text of what Goebbels said. All the people that think its really a book of peace, but has been corrupted are either intellectually lazy or stupid. They are just repeating what they have heard over and over again. I respected George Bush, but all the times he called Islam a religion of peace made me want to throw something at the TV.
It is not. Many years ago I decided to stop being a sheep and believing everything I was told. I read the Bible and the Koran. The Bible is true. The Koran is bad fiction.
I have argued the Islam issue with many people. Either they will admit they just heard from somewhere and never researched it themselves or they will become personally offended. Often times they’ll out and out lie to try and win an argument.
Also, Allah is not the same as Yahweh/Elohim.
The Koran does not give room for a political system that can separate church from state. In Islam the religion becomes the state. Everywhere Muslims emigrate they soon start demanding Sharia to become local law.
Islam must be defeated. It will have to be both an armed struggle and a battle for men’s souls. Islam must be overturned in the marketplace of ideas at the same time we physically defend our country and families. It’s not just back and white. We’re not going to try an kill a billion people.

Here is some corroborating facts about Mohammed’s tomb in Mecca.
It is built on the same ground as the high temple to the Arabic moon-god.

If there is one good thing to say about Muhammed, and it’s the only good thing to say about Muhammed, He believed in equality between man and woman. Never forced his wife to wear a burka, and his wife held a high position in Islam. after they died however women were enslaved. Oh, by the way, supposedly Muhammed got the idea for Islam from his wife, who also told him to travel, and conquer Medina, starting this whole death cult. So if you want to shout death to someone, don’t leave out the wife.

In Muhammed’s Islam women are property. Pay no attention to the Mecca verses. They are Naksh to the Medina ones.
