    A LITTLE STORY I THOUGHT YOU ALL WOULD LIKE!
    So I am sitting at work during my lunch/dinner break and The Communist National News (CNN) comes on. To stop myself from throwing up my recently eatin pasta I race to find the remote and change the channel. Before I can manage to turn it to FOX, up pops a bleeding LIB reporting what they call the “news”. In the corner of the screen I see a symbol of the show with the word NO in caps on top of the words “BIAS and BULL”. At this point I began to dry heave and barley manage to make it to the bathroom…I just couldn’t stand the fact that I had just managed to step in the bullshit! :gun: :gun: :gun: :gun: :gun:

    Can I just say, I freaking just love friends who only call to try and get you to sign up underneath them is some stupid assed web based pyramid scheme. He calls while I was busy, so I called back. Little bit of small talk then he asks me to check out a website. Its this stupid Shop To Earn crap. I have to watch this video (which I think he could monitor that I was watching, because he called back exactly as it ended) and then he wants to know if I was interested and how his wife made $1200 bucks last month. All you got to do is recruit your friends and click on affiliate links to shop. I tactfully got out of the phone call. I should have just asked to come over and see her checks that she was paid and show me her account and how it works. But I am sure they couldn’t do that.

    Hell, I did the ole Google search and you find all kinds of Blogs where you have people questioning this scheme and then of course the posters who have made thousands and thousands of dollars just for sitting on their asses and how could we doubt them.

    Christ, why can’t people just call to shoot the shit anymore. :evil:

    If it makes you two feel any better, there are guys like me who can take a shower and be ready in ten minutes still. I still wear boots when they are fitting the occasion, I still wear Levi’s when I am not lazing around the house, I still wear head gear when in the sun, and I love to shoot. I haven’t had either a manicure or pedicure in all my life, nor have I had any hair coloring other than sun bleaching of my hair. I have a motorcycle, albeit not a Harley, but it is a cruiser and I ride it for transportation, not to be cool.

    I know there are those like me, they just don’t make a big deal of the fact that men are men, and sheep aren’t scared around us. We aren’t ashamed of “the face” we make. We aren’t ashamed that we sometimes don’t feel worthy of the beauty in our lives that we call YOU. We still get a kick out of “the dutch oven” and we still act like little boys at times. That’s part of being a real man.

    I can not buy into that list either. Some version or generically the M98 has to be listed. Blue’s choice of the K98 surely saw the most action, and I could argue for the Mexican as the technical pinnacle. The Garand must be listed. The SAA or the Winchester 1873 certainly trump the K31. A high quality double (handle link) rifle or paradox has to have a place, due to history, quality, and romance.

    He has some pipsqueak guns listed that are important now, but have no history nor manly attributes.

    Heh. Just heard a Navy ship in Hawaii ran aground. Just how many careers will that ruin?

    One of my uncles actually got commended for disobeying a direct order. He was a helmsman and some dumb shavetail set a course right over a sandbar, and called for the captain when he told her he couldn’t do that.

    She expected my uncle to get court-martialed but she was the one relived instead.
