Bertha Lewis, Chief Organizer for ACORN, was on with Neil Cavuto today to talk about their efforts to protest in several states, encouraging people to stay in their homes…despite the fact they are being foreclosed on. Basically squatting. Ms. Bertha is oh-so deluded to think that having a home is a right and not a privilege, and believes that the lenders are 100% to blame for this; not the irres More..ponsible idiots who took out the loans they knew they couldn’t afford.
When in the world is America going to wake up and realize that if we continue to reward bad behavior, that’s exactly what we’re going to get more of. We are, at the same time, punishing good behavior; e.g. “prosperity” and “success.” And we know that what you punish, you get less of. So how did we get to this point, America? How?
Someone please tell me when we became a nation of whiners, believing that all Americans should be protected against pain, uneasiness, hurt, failure, and all those other things that come with life? Where in the Constitution are we guaranteed any of this? We are guaranteed life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, but we are NOT guaranteed equal results!
I pray to God that we wake up before it’s too late. We are becoming a nation of victims, and everyone is so zombified by Obama’s speeches to realize their cheers for his empty promises are actually frightening to the rest of us.
People say they want more freedom, but they are willing to be victims and have everything given to them; these two concepts are incongruent.
Common sense is losing in America, and we are a poorer nation because of it.

And ACORN is being given 5 Billion dollars by the Porkulus bill. ACORN, The Senate Finance Committee, and the CRA are all responsible for the current economic crisis.
Your house Big Bertha, belongs to the lender until you pay off the loan. How is it that this rule applies to everyone else and not you? Why cause the people we’re talking about are black perhaps?
You assholes at Acorn are among the asshats, that came up with the idea of sub-prime mortgages to allow those who couldn’t have otherwise afforded one, to buy a house. If you won’t or can’t pay for the mortgage, then reduce your lifestyle accordingly.
I pay my bills on time. What’s your problem Bertha? And I’m not interested in giving a free ride to people who can’t pay a loan back. Especially, to those who never should have gotten a loan in the first place because ACORN and the FED who prevented the vetting process from going forward with the stupid Community Investment Act and the cooperation of brain-dead fucks like Blarney Frank, Chrissy Dodd, and the adle-minded Maxine Waters to name a few.
Yeah, Bertha, let’s all be responsible. You pay your bills on time ust like I pay my bills on time. No free lunches. Be accountable for your own actions. Thats what adults do.
So while the sun shines on both the wicked and the good, rain also falls. That’s life…deal with it. Everybody else has to.
Rather than point the finger at Banks and Corporations, why don’t you point the finger back at the real culprits here: yourself, and the Fed.
Acorn and the Fed have sown to the wind, they shouldn’t be surprised, or make piss-poor excuses, when they reap the whirlwind.
Bertha is just another taqiyya seller just like her shoe-shine-boy-ass-lick “teleprompter Jesus”.
White men can’t jump, but they sure know how to pay their bills on time and aren’t afraid to hold other jobs after being laid off. How is it that others think that they can slide?
What’s next, refusing eviction from a rental apartment because the banks got a bailout?
A few years ago I had agents offering me the dream

I may be a renter but my credit is excellent and I know my limitations.

Im in the same boat and “the American dream” is when I can get into a house I can afford and maintain because I worked hard for it and saved.
Homeownership is a privledge not a right, something to strive for not hold your hand out for.
