Crowding Out The Koran

February 20th, 2009 (14) Posted By .

Born in Detroit, raised in Montreal, Steven Crowder, got his start at 12 years old voicing cartoons and acting in Canadian films/television. In an attempt to attract the dames, Steven took up the art of stand up comedy as well (to no avail). 6 years later, (at 18 years old) Steven performed at the “Just for Laughs” world renowned comedy festival, as the youngest Comedian ever to grace the festivals stage (breaking the previous record set by Chris Rock at 19). Immediately afterward, Steven won the much publicized, national Stand up Comedy competition on Myspace.

Steven has since appeared in numerous films, television shows and radio programs, all the while, taking his unique brand of humor across the country garnering countless accolades and winning the hearts of fans (still, no dames).

In recent years, fed up with the rampant Liberalism in Hollywood, Comedy clubs and among young people (it’s a pandemic you know), Steven decided to use his comedic arsenal for the greater good. Sure some people were born leftists and they’re going to stay leftists… But for the rest of us (and for the benefit of common sense everywhere)Steven will continue to take dead aim on the left wing nut-jobs… Get them in the cross hairs… And take them down.

I saw a video of a Saudi Cleric explaining that Mohammad did in fact take a wife who was six years old, but wait, he did not consummate the marriage until she was nine years old.

The Cleric was explaining how Mohammad did nothing wrong.

    Fucking hilarious…

So if the Brits are worried about Geert Wilders and his documentary, “Fitna”, perhaps they should just try a little comic relief.

    Religion of peace? my ass…

Glad you brought up the subject of Mohammed. It just so happens I sent you an essay on the Life Of Mohammed. It isn’t as funny as this guy’s presentation, but it is to the point.

    Good vid.

I think that the centre of the free speech debate is that we have all got our limits as to what we think is going too far.

Trying to guess as to what some of yours might be:- let’s say there’s some fuckwit who announces that he’s going to go to the Lincoln Memorial tomorrow to burn a bible wrapped in a copy of the constitution wrapped in an American flag. Would you be rushing to Washington to defend his right to free speech or to embed some lead in the back of his head?

There are obviously limits to free speech, some of which are clear. There is the usual example of unnecessarily shouting “Fire!” at a crowded theatre, the promotion of violence or illegal activity etc.

It’s the grey area in-between where we have all the discussion and difference of opinion. In Britain, people quite often draw the line in the wrong place, but it usually gets picked up in the media and common sense prevails – but not always.

The key is, I think, is deciding where something is, or is likely to be, harmful to society in general. Tough call.

Steven Crowder is obviously very skilled at walking that tightrope. Funny, accurate, but a long way from being harmful to society.

The kid hit the nail on the head. Though the young man joked at the end, I sincerely hope the so-called “religion of peace” doesn’t seek vengence on Steven.

    Thanks for posting the vid.
