    Moral of the story: If you MUST pull this kind of shit on someone, don’t confess to it. Make sure you use a good proxy and politely refuse to talk to the police without a lawyer. In the end, it’s a whole lot of trouble for a stupid prank.

    Craig’slist sucks. We has 2 huge poplars cut down in our yard last spring. I have a fire pit. Some woman (still don’t know who she was) was walking her dog and told the guys doing the cutting that it was a shame the fire wood was going to waste and it should be put on Craig’s list. Well she did it. People were coming in my yard taking my wood when I wasn’t there. There weren’t many takers but it still pissed me off.
