I just hope Rush Limbaugh doesn’t pull a “Michael Moore-move”; relocate to another country. Sounds like the last man standing could use some backup, from the vocals of committed Patriots. The problem is there is no leader for the Conservative Voice, other than a few marginalized radio personalities, blogs and web sites. How do you gain traction NATIONWIDE, even if we get a majority of people thinking the same way, how do we get them to MOVE!???

If a guy like Rush Limbaugh stood up and announced he’d run against Obama in the next election, I’d bleed out my eyeballs to get the job done. But, there is no one like him that will take the job.

There are a few things we can do. First, PRAY. Only God can redeem this nation, and only if we reach out to Him and ask His forgiveness for our nation. Of course, sometimes He says no.

Second, look to His word. It is filled with guidance, wisdom, and comfort.

And finally, prepare. The fight ahead will be extremely tough. But we must not yield.

Another point Rush made today was that we must always fight, referencing Churchill’s words: “we shall fight on the beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender”.

I refuse to sound like one of those leftie Hollywood pukes that make me want to vommit. Those whining bitches pissed and moaned about moving to Canada if Bush won in ’00 & ’04, but they didnt. Instead, they chose to stay and fight and in doing so, they won. If we as true conservatives leave, this country goes to shit and stays there. Someone above said too many good men and women have died to make this the best country in the world. They are right. No way in hell am I leaving this place for the scum to dance on the graves of patriots. While I dont advocate for an armed uprising, I will not count such an occurance out IF we continue to be pissed on by our elected officials.

I see alot of people here wondering what to do next.

Organize. Again, organize, organize. Then push our state governments to regain their sovereignty. This has already started in a few places with no real success yet because as I understand it a majority of state legislatures need to pass it and declare the state sovereign and render all federal laws meaningless within that state. Then their has to be a forceful pushback when the fed comes to re-claim that state. But even the most red of states have a quite a few politicians who, while they may be conservative, don’t want to be seen as the crazy guy backing the revolutionaries.
I think what really needs to happen first though is alot more people need to be alot worse off for it to actually happen. As long as most people are still comfortable in their lives and have some money, it won’t happen. It takes alot to tear people away from their comfortable Playstation and Mountain Dew addled existences. And let’s face it, most of us who give a shit don’t want to lose what we have either and we’re busy working our tails off for a living.

One thing is for sure. There will be no moving anywhere for me. I live in the middle of Indiana, with all this great farmland around me and plenty of stands of wood to cut down, in the middle of the greatest nation on Earth. I will stay and fight for every inch of it. Changing continents isn’t feasible or desirable for me.

Why NZ? That country is just a socialist state with some guns and lots of sheep. There are some industrial problems since their natural gas is running out and methanol & ammonia plants have shut down. Trinidad is where these companies moved to where there are tremendous natural gas reserves.

If you are planning to move somewhere I might suggest some places with very limited government such as:

San Marino
Liechtenstein
Andorra
Monaco

If you like guns then Switzerland and Israel are the places to be where everyone has one.

As for me, the U.S. still will be the safest and best place to be when the world melts. We have been buying gold and silver coins and just started stockpiling seeds.

I am an American in grad school here and i can tell you that it is a real dump. people suck. weather sucks. housing sucks. rent for a little dump of an apartment is $320 a week. alcohol and tobacco are taxed to the point that they are luxaries. guns are around but only rifles and shotguns (and as a non-citizen i have not enquired about getting permits). even mace and pepper spray are actually illegal- my wife carries a 14 inch bowie knife in her purse instead (she does this because streets are poorly lit at night and bums run amuck because they are allowed to crash about anywhere they want). 14 dollar and hour minimum wage- means no room for advancment in most service sector jobs, so poor apathetic service. poor appathetic service is actually the stock and trade of new zealand and don’t think this doesn’t apply to their crappy socialized, under skilled, over restricive, long waiting list, health care. but thats just a little bit of this shit hole country. but its a nice place to visit (i’m just kidding go to Australia instead if you have a need the hole anitpodean thing, its actually nice).
