Why the hell was that other guy charged. If anything he should be given a medal. But no, he’s got an assault charge on him now for knocking out a drunk driver who crashed into him.
Lets be thankful the drunk guy wasn’t killed, or else the guy who he hit would be charged with manslaughter. That’s just how it works in the USSA.

This prick was drunk, had already caused two accidents, and left the scene of both. Clearly he was a danger to the general public and had it coming.:evil: Not saying I agree with busting the guy up,but I certainly understand it. The “attacker” should be given an opportunity to plead down or in a sensible world have the charges dropped.
Also, is there security camera footage of this? If so, I wanna see it.

How’d you like to be Atchley, still sitting in jail on $5000 bond while the asshole drunk driver that caused two wrecks sits over in the hospital.
While I recognize Atchley shouldn’t have punched the guy, is it not understandable why he would have been that irate, especially considering the drunk driver’s attitude?
I think I’d let Atchley go with a warning if I was the Officer in charge.
