Washington Post Lynches Michael Steele For Being Wrong Kind Of Negro - With Video
Michael Steele, the newly elected chairman of the Republican National Committee, defended himself from allegations of campaign finance improprieties on Sunday, saying the Washington Post should be “ashamed of itself” for running a story highlighting irregularities from his 2006 Senate campaign in Maryland.
The story, published in Saturday’s Washington Post, reports that Alan Fabian, Steele’s former campaign finance chairman, told federal investigators that Steele arranged for the campaign to pay his sister’s defunct company for services that were never performed.
“It’s not true and those allegations were leveled by a convicted felon who is trying to get a reduced sentence on his conviction,” Steele said on ABC’s “This Week.” “The Washington Post ought to be ashamed of itself for getting out in front of something without all the facts.”
