(Israel National News INN.com) A Syrian paper reported Sunday that the U.S. Department of Commerce agreed to sell plane parts to Syria. The parts will be used to repair two Boeing 747s which are currently out of use in the country.

Former U.S. President Bush had forbid U.S. commerce with Syria expect for food and medicines. The Obama administration has been more lax in its approach to countries which support terrorism.

    Just as the post about the $500 billion run on our banks in 24 hours. It is the corrupt leading the inept leading the uninformed/misinformed.

    Gallows building time. If we met at the Lincoln Memorial and marched up to the steps of the Capital building with rope in our hands, they still wouldn’t get that it was for them.

    Stimulus Payments

    The USA and various other countries are set to hand out economic “stimulus” payments to their citizens. Below we explain that — using the Q and A format:

    “Q. What is an Economic Stimulus Payment?
    “A. It is money that the federal government will give to taxpayers.
    “Q. Where will the government get this money?
    “A. From taxpayers.
    “Q. So the government is giving me back my own money?
    “A. Only a little bit of it.
    “Q. What is the purpose of this payment?
    “A. The plan is that you will use the money to purchase a high-definition TV set, thus stimulating the economy.
    “Q. But isn’t that stimulating the economy of China?
    “A. Shut up.”

    Below is some helpful advice on how to best help the Economy by spending your stimulus check wisely:

    If you spend that money at Wal-Mart, all the money will go to China.
    If you spend it on fuel, it will go to the Arabs.
    If you purchase a computer, it will go to China or Taiwan
    If you purchase fruit and vegetables, it will go to somewhere in Asia or Mexico (unless you buy organic).
    If you buy a car, it will go to Japan.
    If you purchase useless crap, it will go to China

    …and none of it will help the economy. We need to keep that money here. You can keep the money here by spending it at garage sales, going to a football game, or spending it on prostitutes, beer or tattoos, since those are the only businesses still here.

    This is an old one but well worth a re-run, I think

    Several centuries ago, the Pope decreed that all the Jews had to convert to Catholicism or leave Italy . There was a huge outcry from the Jewish community, so the Pope offered a deal. He’d have a religious debate with the leader of the Jewish community. If the Jews won, they could stay in Italy; if the Pope won, they’d have to convert or leave.

    The Jewish people met and picked an aged and wise rabbi to represent them in the debate. However, as the rabbi spoke no Italian, and the Pope spoke no Yiddish, they agreed that it would be a ‘silent’ debate.

    On the chosen day the Pope and rabbi sat opposite each other.

    The Pope raised his hand and showed three fingers.

    The rabbi looked back and raised one finger.

    Next, the Pope waved his finger around his head.

    The rabbi pointed to the ground where he sat.

    The Pope brought out a communion wafer and a chalice of wine.

    The rabbi pulled out an apple.

    With that, the Pope stood up and declared himself beaten and said that the rabbi was too clever. The Jews could stay in Italy !!!

    Later the cardinals met with the Pope and asked him what had happened.

    The Pope said, ‘First I held up three fingers to represent the Trinity. He responded by holding up a single finger to remind me there is still only one God common to both our beliefs.

    ‘Then, I waved my finger around my head to show him that God was all around us. He responded by pointing to the ground to show that God was also right here with us.

    ‘I pulled out the wine and wafer to show that God absolves us of all our sins. He pulled out an apple to remind me of the original sin.

    ‘He bested me at every move and I could not continue.’

    Meanwhile, the Jewish community gathered to ask the rabbi how he’d won.

    ‘I haven’t a clue’ the rabbi said. ‘ First, he told me that we had three days to get out of Italy, so I gave him the finger.

    ‘Then he tells me that the whole country would be cleared of Jews and I told him that we were staying right here.’

    ‘And then what?’ asked a woman.

    ‘Who knows?’ said the rabbi. ‘He took out his lunch so I took out mine.’

    That reminds me of the Methodist minister, the priest, and the Rabbi visiting the park together and speaking of their congregations, and the methods which they employed to divide their offerings between God and themselves.

    The Priest says, “Well, after mass, I walk out back with the offerings, I draw a big circle on the ground. Then I throw all of the money into the air and what lands in the circle is for God, what lands outside the circle, I keep.”

    The Methodist minister says, “Mine is similar. I walk out back, draw a line and then throw the money into the air. What lands on the left is mine, what lands on the right goes to God”

    The Rabbi thinks for a second and says, “Mine is very similar indeed. I take the money out back, throw it in the air, and what God wants, God keeps.”
