29 meds is way too much, he’s taking meds to control the sides effects of other meds, and so on and so forth. He would probably feel alot better if he just got off of all that shit altogether.

people like this are just wimps. yes, it was traumatic, yes, it was horrible, but what a weak mind. what a wasted mind.

Well now, I suffer from anxiety and depression ‘CAD’(after a very serious breakdown back in ’01) but as far as I can I just get on with life. I have bad days but many good ones and everyone has some problem or the other….

It seems to me in any violent situation there will be people who would have gone on to have psychological problems but now they have an event to hang it on.

I think it is also true that in civvy street, when terrible things happen we are not psychologically prepared in any way so some traumatic after shocks are likely.

    It’s called ‘life’.

I have nightmares about being taken prisoner of war. While I was in Iraq, my worst fears were snipers and being taken prisoner, because we all know what happens when they get ahold of you. Anyway, I ALWAYS wake up at the end. This guy is just looking for an excuse to be weak, and not have to try at life.

Guy needs to see a psychologist if it’s that bad. But erasing memories isn’t the way to go. There’s a reason we remember bad shit. That’s to keep it from happening again. And to psychologically prepare people for bad shit to happen.

Propranolo aka inderal is a Beta Blocker. All it really does is block the chemical that causes one to feel stress. The mind and body is still stressing but the drug user is non-symptomatic.

Not much of a cure. That fat boy needs a little hair of the dog; needs to get back in the saddle; needs to grow a pair!

    Where is General Patton?

Title of the post pretty much says it all.

I’ve never really been afraid the way most people use the term. Might get a little high strung when I can see it coming, for the most part my emotions shut down during, and if there’s no physical exertion I get the shakes after. Never gotten the shakes after a real fight, but often get them after I think I’ll be in one.

Never had a problem with flashbacks or nightmares. Never had to drink or do drugs to forget. Those I just do for fun…
