Putin Warns The US Against Socialism

The Right Perspective:

Russian Prime Minister Vladamir Putin has said the US should take a lesson from the pages of Russian history and not exercise “excessive intervention in economic activity and blind faith in the state’s omnipotence”.

“In the 20th century, the Soviet Union made the state’s role absolute,” Putin said during a speech at the opening ceremony of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. “In the long run, this made the Soviet economy totally uncompetitive. This lesson cost us dearly. I am sure nobody wants to see it repeated.”

Sounding more like Barry Goldwater than the former head of the KGB, Putin said, “Nor should we turn a blind eye to the fact that the spirit of free enterprise, including the principle of personal responsibility of businesspeople, investors, and shareholders for their decisions, is being eroded in the last few months. There is no reason to believe that we can achieve better results by shifting responsibility onto the state.”

Putin also cautioned the US against using military Keynesianism to lift its economy out of recession, saying, “in the longer run, militarization won’t solve the problem but will rather quell it temporarily. What it will do is squeeze huge financial and other resources from the economy instead of finding better and wiser uses for them.” Putin’s comments come in sharp contrast to Russia’s own military buildup and expansion.

Putin also echoed the words of conservative maverick Ron Paul when he said, “we must assess the real situation and write off all hopeless debts and ‘bad’ assets. True, this will be an extremely painful and unpleasant process. Far from everyone can accept such measures, fearing for their capitalization, bonuses, or reputation. However, we would ‘conserve’ and prolong the crisis, unless we clean up our balance sheets.”

“The time for enlightenment has come. We must calmly, and without gloating, assess the root causes of this situation and try to peek into the future.”

    Perhaps Mr. Putin really does have a good sense of the economic disaster that government intervention will cause. Russia might feel the worst of a global economic meltdown, and a severely weakened Russia can only hold off resource-hungry China for so long.

    I will be posting this several times throughout this site. I heard it this morning on the Laura Ingraham show who was on vacation with Jane Macy filling in. Macy used to be a Liberal and she mentioned that the ONE thing that liberals MUST have in order to rise to power (”they COUNT on it) is for conservatives to retreat or give way, i.e. accommodate. She then played this sound bite from a Reagan speech. I am not ashamed to admit, but I had to pull over on the Interstate because I was openly weeping. I was 10 years old when Reagan was first inaugurated, I love him and miss him terribly. The speech is a warning, prophecy, message of hope and ultimately a directive for conservatives everywhere.     The whole world is upside down when Putin sounds much more rational than the idiots in Washington. He’s not stupid, and he likes to shoot, and he’s actually a fiscal conservative. Hmmm. Beats most any politicians we have floating around.

    Hell, we need to draft him into the Republican party. I bet that with just a tiny bit of cover up work and a bit of assistance from his KGB that we can get him a shiny new birth certificate recorded in Hawaii, get him a law degree from Harvard, and then seal all the records.

    Shucks, with a few weeks worth of speech lessons, nobody would even be able to guess he isn’t just as native born as our Kenyan leader King Barack Hussein O. is….

    What did Ronald Reagan do, besides cut taxes? He increased military spending and forced the commies to try to keep up while they were fighting in Afghanistan and trying to maintain their Cold War positions.

    Now, Putin is driving us into a Cold War footing while we are fighting in Afghanistan.

    In the mid to long term, Russia is far more worried about China than anyone else. Russia has the natural resources that China will need, and in or after a prolonged global downturn Russia may not have the strength, or allies (E. Europe is now teetering), to prevent China from just taking them.

    Russia’s strength and relevance depends largely on energy exports, or it would if prices weren’t in the tank (it’s also worth remembering that Europe may need Russia more so when the economy is good, and Russia will need some allies). Putin well knows that comfortably high energy prices require a stable global economy, and the biggest threat to that are unfortunately Obama and the Dems, now the official voice of the U.S.

    How ironic that since no on else is using them, Putin is now free to use Republican talking points to spank the U.S. From now on, on the world stage anyway where Republicans are now largely irrelevant, U.S. conservatives will be seen to be using Putin’s talking points. Yes, the world is on its head!

    There is an old joke I heard many years ago, and it goes something like this: If you want to learn about Communism, go to the University of Paris. If you want to learn about Capitalism, go to the University of Moscow.

    Putin’s ambitions and background certainly make him no ‘friend’ of ours. But if anything positive can be said about an old KGB ‘company’ guy like him; it would have to be that he thoroughly understands exactly what made America such a formidable foe. He understands this far better then many, long serving, American politicians (liberal-progressives and RINOs) could ever comprehend.

    For Tsar Vladimir, stating the obvious now is absolutely no problem for him. It may even, over the long-term, increase his clout in old Europe. For he also understands just exactly how far down the road to chaos our Demo-commie government is planning to take us (all the frigging way, it would seem).

    Talk about just plain weird… In Russia because of the economic shortfalls the central government under Putin has ,,, get this ,,,, made deep cuts into itself to ensure that the budget is met from less revenues. In other words Russia is shrinking it’s government and spending; rather than taxing the people and expanding government. Whis is exactly what the US is doing… You know for some reason.. I kinda like Putin, strangely enough, because I think he really gets it on some issue’s. Too weird.

    I heard the O’Rielly and Whoopi news on FOX. What she said scared the heck out of me. When Bill asked, “What would it take for you to not like Obama?”. She replies, “I’d just like him to try”. If majority of Americans think like her I’d get out of the country fast. These kinds of thinking harbor a one-party political system that (hopefully not) would turn to dictatorship. He’s already campaigning for the his next term as we know it. Saying that it will take more than four years to fix the problem. He’ll have deficit after after deficit in his whole term. I wouldn’t want to be treasury sec. under his term. It would be a massive headache for four years and more if he had his way.

They also know that the Democratic party accepted the communist doctrine and policies long ago. They have seen the death and destruction that communism/Marxism has rained throughout other continents. They know Obama and Democratic party are not going to stop under any circumstances until all are enslaved. They know because they lived that history.

    Many will die, many will starve, we are on the verge of being a third world country with a first class military commanded by a Satan or Hitler.

    Well they always said the only thing holding back the one world government was Russia becoming a bit more economically free & the US becoming a bit more totalitarian.

    -Carbon dioxide C02 aka exhaled BREATH= has just been authorized for EPA regulation and control. If the government can reach as far as regulation of exhaled breath the minds the limit.
    -Gas tax to go by millage not per gallon= So everyone will be required to have a GPS chip in their car for monitoring? New government control on big 3 will seat the new cars and registration/license renewal will get the older cars. State mandated insurance & GPS chips to renew registration?

    Were is the limit. Will global warming require our need for permits to travel like the ole soviet union? Will it require our cars implanted with GPS? Will we be required to host identity chips to stop fraud by those who refuse the above? Were is the limit???

    was he is not doing,however is reapproaching the e.u. with the same message and a real apology for the vast war crimes his predecessors committed. his nationalism prevented him from attacking and purging the corrupt old soviet hacks>that’s why the other slavic states like the ukraine who suffered so much want to break away and join nato and/or the e.u..

    The speech at Davos, by the former Russian president, most vividly illustrates that revolution is NOT the prerogative of the Marxist, but rather the supreme legacy of America’s founding fathers.

    The United States of America–in standing for the rights of the individual– shines in the geopolitical firmament as a pole star for all revolutionary movements –past, present and future.

    If this were not so, the Chinese people would not have erected a Statue of Liberty at Tiananmen Square in 1989.

    The lone Chinese man who stood against a line of tanks, is the spiritual kindred of all freedom-loving peoples of the world.

    Should the United States of America fall as the last bastion standing against the international bankers, the concept of nation-state will become eclipsed by the New World Order of an imperium of capital and a return to rule by oligarchy.

    Mr. Putin sees the danger coming from America’s transparently communist government, in the form of global bankruptcy and dissolution for all nations, as they enter vassalage under and swear fealty to the return of the feudal lord.

    Multiculturalism has become the paradigm for universal communism and slavery of the human race, as nations become reduced to polyglot zoos where the people have no say and live “by the leave” of the feudal lord. This is called “matching a willing worker with an employer” and also “welcoming nation” for the third world “guest worker” invader. It is also called “pledging allegiance to the United Nations,” which is the phony storefront of the international bankers. “Corporate citizenship” replaces love of country in this “New World Order.”

    This systematic dumbing-down of nations–through massive invasion by the Third World, which conducts stealth warfare, wearing the cloak of “immigration” –is the modus operandi of the central bankers for bringing all nations to their knees.

    Such a master plan of petri dish social engineering, will of course pave the way for the ascendancy of Big Brother and establish universal slavery for all nations as a poor substitute for their desire for a place in the sun. Thus, all nations enter the shadows and sunset of decline, while the guest worker temporarily “emerges from the shadows.”

    The international bankers hold the fate of all nations in their hands, as they forge the chains which lead to financial ruination for countries, as a strategy of the ultimate communist class warfare.

    Universal communism means the end of nations, patrimony and cultural heritage. Such things are not needed by proles in Big Brother‘s “New World Order.”

    Such concepts as “duty, honor, country” become consigned to theme park status in the new synthetic world where everyone will wear a microchip.
