I lived in tucson for years these asswipes know whats in store if you break into someones castle there, you will get shot, tucson you can still wear a gun on your side.
Those be mexicans dilly. Its usually some mexicans going after someone, who they know has a lot of cash around. (think drug dealers) So they try to rush in get the cash and leave. Easy pickings usually. But who has guns even when there are gun laws, criminals. So you have criminals going after criminals. These criminals ALWAYS carry a gun.
Funny part is they cant shoot accurately. Think spray and pray.
