I’ve heard that this quote was taken “out of context”, & that Rush didn’t mean to imply that all atheists were Obama supporters. Nevertheless, I disagree with the premise — I am an atheist who would NEVER support Obama, or any other radical Marxist / Socialist, for that matter :gun: . I don’t believe in God, but I DO believe in the spirit of America, and in the principles this great country was founded on. I strongly support people like GWB and Sarah Palin and Bobby Jindal, even though I disagree w/ their religious beliefs. I have voted Republican in 5 of the last 6 elections (except in ’92, when I was a naive little kid at the time ), and am frightened of what the Democrat socialists intend to do for America.
Meanwhile, lots of the religious people I know DID support Obama.
