    About a dozen protestors demanding sanctions be lifted on Zimbabwe. Almost all black, but most didn’t seem African. More likely the usual ethnic marxists. I’m half surprised I didn’t see Sharpton, but I didn’t see any TV cameras to draw him out from under his bridge.

    Busy…busy times in St. Croix. Lux houses goin up faster than the dow. More fund-raising balls, street parades, wine tastings, private parties, public parties,lots of Yachts… we even got a dog parade :shock: next week-end.

    You’ll love what I walked by today. A fucking PRO-Mugabe rally. As in the guy who murdered Rhodesia and turned the breadbasket of Africa into the hellhole known as Zimbabwe. There were about a dozen of them. All black, but didn’t really look African. They guy with the megaphone was definitely American (as far as citizenship goes; I don’t doubt his hatred for the US).

    I would really like to hear anyone try to make a case for that evil bastard. Rhodesia had some problems, what nation does not, but they were making real improvements. Real liberty is a remarkably damned rare commodity and they had it, in addition to a standard of living that rivaled ours in the USA. Liberty is so rare that even the seed for it to grow from is remarkably precious. Rhodesia’s seed may not have grown to a tree that offered shade to all her people, but it was a strong and healthy sapling.

    Those who chose to uproot it rather than water it must own a special place in hell.

    In the teaser for it there’s a scene where a guy hands a semi-auto (1911?) to a girl and asks if she “knows how to use that”, and while racking the slide to chamber a round she replies,” I’ve got 3 brothers and none of them are Democrats”.

    And thinking about the other stuff he’s done, it seems that the Government’s always the bad guy.

    I looked for the clip on Hulu.com and couldn’t find it.

    Warning: there’s an actor in the show that looks more than a bit like the asshat in the White House.

    Anyways, have a good evening.

    I`ve listened to Glenn Beck for about two years now and he`s pretty good. He`s the only news/radio/tv man that has talked openly about secession. I get wood when someone talks like that on radio/tv for millions to see and hear. I`ve yet to hear anything that was weak or leftist at all. And yes O`Reilly is like Jerry Springer now, it makes me sick.

    I don’t know if Joss Whedon is a Conservative or not. I’ve only had the briefest of interaction with him, back when he was just starting out. He was some kid who was a client who used to come shuffling into the agency looking like a pale, red-headed, one-year-behind-the-times Trenchcoat Mafia wannabe, carrying a screenplay with the absurd and unlikely title of “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”. I cracked it, read 3 pages, thought it was stupid, and chucked it. We said hi a couple of times and one of us asked the other for drugs.
